I think if you swipe from left to right it should open instead of the app drawer and if you press the unity button the "normal" app drawer opens. I hope you understand what I mean.

@syper Or you leave the app drawer like it is and swipe it up from the bottom. The bottom is "empty" anyway. This way it would be more like an extra feature and you dont have to decide one or another.

Maybe thats easier to implement as well.

edit: If I am thinking about it - I am travelling and a little bit bored - I see for the bottom side 3 possible behaviors.

it works like the top menu. You open it by swiping up and when move to one side or another you select the side/scope as well
You swipe it up like a “normal” launcher. It could be appear more like a translucent overlay.
You tap once or twice on the homescreen, then at the bottom the “scope“ symbol panel appeas at the bottom and by pressing it the "scope side" opens.

Just to give a little input. Maybe you find something you like.

I'm thinking on a desktop-phone convergence and IMHO I like the drawer as is now, but it would make sense if launcher modular could be integrated in the drawer as the old scopes from Unity 7 was integrated.
The other way it would be to find a way to integrate it on de desktop background working as a widget, It would fit correctly as a widget on a desktop?
It is just an a Idea, since i'm not a developer i don't know if it could be done ^_^'

This launcher is really good and with the round icons the launcher looks incredibly great. I also use it as my standard launcher and I hope it will be further developed in the future.
Unfortunately some tabs like the news are not working for me.

Just an idea:
as the app drawer on Unity 8 is lightning fast and handy to slide in from the left - wouldn't it be more convenient to remove the app drawer from Launcher Modular and just leave the start page plus the rss and calendar pages - then the experience would be close to my all-time favourite meego on the Nokia N9 plus a kind of 'widget page' so maybe we could get the best of three worlds and still an unique approach

Laucher that looks realy great, exactly what i searched, will wait for an update of it to use as it seems not quite compatible with my system (not able to add image scope to default one for me for exemple, launcher crash)

Just one question, i still tested it and didn't managed to get this beautifull transparency working :

EDIT : bon je viens de voir que t'es français (je m'en doutais un peu vu le nom/prénom), alors je te dis merci pour tes efforts, ton application est très jolie, j'espère pouvoir m'en servir rapidement pour remplacer ce fade launcher de base avec ses deux pov'scopes, encore pire que le launcher canonical lol.

Ok so i've tested more and found that the problem came from system settings, i changed background and then transparancy worked fine.

However i could talk you about other things.

I've just updated to OTA-12 and there is the default dash launcher again. I tried to reactive Launcher modular and it didn't help. I tried to reinstall Launcher modular and it didn't help. The default dash launcher is awful. How can I active Launcher modular on OTA-12? Because Launcher modular I like it very much.

You can't replace "default dash launcher" with LM now, just launch LM and use it like any app.

Not a breaking problem for now, just make your launcher app greater and bug free (i.e. i still have crash when trying add image page) :beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:
Talking about that i noticed you just apdated it, v0.1.8, but last changelog on open store is for v0.1.7, could you update?

Edit : Wow just seen that you made possible add custom icon for "url website", "terminal command", and "launch app"!
If you can add a file/folder option to that (for exemple i'd like to make a quick file acces for my work planning ods file) it would be great.

Edit 2 : Saw that you made it possible to change scaling of icons, awesome!
That would be great that for the apps you make it possible to deactivate them on home page, and add an app page, for those who want separate widgets and apps.

Anyway take needed time to keep up that wonderfull work!
