@Glatorius Updates to the browser would be really nice. I also think that Telegram improvements would be a good thing as we run the risk of being left too far behind the other branches of this app. Which is not a good thing as Telegram is the main (if not only) chat app we can use.

camera goes working by nexus 5 would be nice.
terminal
basics ( calling sms )
more..if you have the time for coding.
nice work by the way to all members and users -
@hans1977se I did not notice impact on the battery (not more than using an app the default way) but maybe you're right. Maybe it depends on the device ? I think it just allows multitasking but when you're done you close the app and I don't think there's something still working on background. The thing is I clearly use more battery because it allows me to use several apps at the same time. So maybe the battery problem is not about the option but about the large amount of ressources used by the device to manage multitasking (it often happens that apps freeze and close).

I bought my M10 following the idea (dream..) of convergence. I know that this is not going to happen for the time being. I still consider this achievable (in the long term) and I appreciate your effort. In the meanwhile I thought to re-purpose my M10 tablet as multimedia device to play music and video. However at the moment it is a somewhat disappointing experience: in many situation video playback is buggy ( some avi file refuse to play, subtitle support is missing etc), furthermore BT functionality is limited to certain device. I'll not mention HDMI output as this is a step further . Any improvement in the functionalities for this use case will be really appreciated.

Just features:

Can you take a look here? https://bileto.ubuntu.com/#/active?search=2351
It's a silo developed to the phone. It makes you to move the cursor swiping in the keyboard after a long press of space key in screen.
I tihink that this could be an interesting feature by default. -
Other thing that could be nice is a toggle in battery indicator to keep screen active (it would be better than open the app "active screen" which is really nice, but integrate in indicator i think it would be better
-
It's not very important since how actually bluetooth works, but i think that his indicator should be improved. Maybe showing devices from the indicator, or list of previous connected devices to try to connect them again. IMHO this one can wait to 16.04 ^_^'
Thanks for all.

@RedXXIII I think the question is only how much more current it consumes. Hopefully not too much more, but i think there is a reason why not all apps are automatically added to the list.
I'll try to remember to close the apps i add to the list, and then it's probably not much of an issue i hope.

@Glatorius
I'm agree with you about background reload of scopes, but i'm not sure if it is the main problem with them. I think that one of the main problem is that them usually don't load any info. Also looks like them should save some data untill a complete refresh of the scope... -
Hi Marius, first thanks for your and all team effort. From my point of view I would like to ask to add:
Wifi printing capability
Magnifying glass for the edit cursor
Microfon voice search and command capability
Bluetooth car connection improvement
Adblock - done, thanks.BR. MK

@MK73
Thanks to Marius we now have System wide adblocker for ubuntu touch: https://uappexplorer.com/app/uadblock.mariogrip -
@Vehi_MV Thanks for info, I know, one wish list dream is already fulfilled.
And Marius, I know it is already possible with Terminal but what about adding to settings the firewall option. BR. MK

Magnifying glass for the edit cursor
Oh yes! That would be great!
Sailfish has that done in the best way I have seen on any smartphone/touchscreen

@MK73 For printing there was already some work done by Canonical, but I am not sure we can already include it in OTA-3. Because it can only print pdf documents
-
@MK73 @doniks
what do you think about this?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FYbtyweMs8
This is what i was talking before
-
@Flohack step by step of course, pdf for beginning sounds great
-
@Josué very nice, and very responsive
-
@Flohack
to your topic printing-work by canonical/ota3?......for me, pdf printing is all i need
is there a reference- printer to deal with?
i only ask because working with printer-drivers is often a neverending story. or would we send in future printjobs by this way over halium/googleprint? so the workload on drivers could, maybee be outsourced to company google/googleprint. -
@mike Currently it has some cups stuff inside, Andrew Hayzen has the details. Dont ask me, did not look what printers are supported

@Flohack Thinking in print, cups client was my 1st idea as well, esp. for PDF, and the CUPS backends for LPD and socket can print to nearly any device w/o needing any Win* driver.
