@johangm90 There is this new online radio streaming app Radio Record on Open Store. You can have a look on his code to see how he solved some issues that you my face.
-
@johangm90
Are you the dev of CloudMusic? -
@Keneda Yes, he is, plus the Vulgry app. Sorry for answering for him, but it can take days to get an answer from since he's rarely online. I don't even know what's the status of his Pinephone, last time (that was like 2 weeks ago) was in the Peruvian Customs awaiting some certificates.
-
@Keneda yes i'm
-
Will you keep maintaining this app, wich is very good and worked very well, since it no longer works with last OTA?
-
@Keneda nothing to do with OTA-13, or rc or dev. It works again for me.
-
@Keneda i cant test in a real phone but it's working now, some days ago i updated the server where the cloud music api is hosted to ubuntu 20.04 and maybe it caused some issues.
-
@johangm90
Yes, it was possible to find music, see the song cover, but nothing played.
I'll test again when i can (battery out).
Thanks for feedback. -
@johangm90
So, i tested again and same result, it didn't work.
Then i told myself "maybe clear app data (with UTTT) then uninstall and reinstall", and voilΓ , it worked.Something got broken whith last uT update, but nothing a reinstall couln't solve ^^

@Keneda It doesn't work on my Nexus5 or Pinephone, even after this purge. I think it has to do more with this: https://github.com/ytdl-org/youtube-dl/ , but on Ubuntu Desktop the VideoDownloader still works.
-
@johangm90 youtube_dl doesn't work anymore as is deleted from Github. Thanks for your hard work anyway. Hope you manage to get your phone. Idiots from google don't know there is screen-recording as well?
-
youtube-dl has indeed been removed from GitHub. But that shouldn't impact already built instances of any projects that uses it. It is simply the source code that has been made unavailable.
-
And Github is owned by Microsoft, and delete asked by RIAA.
Google has nothing to do with this.Sources can be hosted anywhere else, and are still available on dev site : https://youtube-dl.org/
Freedom of the Press Foundation condemned this move from github, for good reasons.
-
It was removed following the youtube complaints, so... I've tried other desktop apps that use youtube-dl and they are still working.

RIAA is not youtube...
https://www.riaa.com/Youtube can remove vidΓ©os from users on RIAA demands.
Youtube can't make Github remove anything from their repos, i don't even know if youtube is RIAA member.
(edit : they are not https://www.riaa.com/about-riaa/riaa-members/ )Just read this : https://github.com/github/dmca/blob/master/2020/10/2020-10-23-RIAA.md

@Keneda Alles klar!
-
Hello guys, I have received the approval certificate for the pinephone to be able to release it from customs.
-
@johangm90
Great news.
It took some time but the important think is that it will be in your hands soon. -
@johangm90 That's a fΒ₯βΉing good news after a s%$y day. Good done, Johan!
-
Some news about youtube-dl.
Repos restored on github as it does NOT brake any DRM.
It was an abusive RIAA request.https://www.theregister.com/2020/11/16/github_restores_youtubedl/
