TELEports freezes on enter of a group

I'm using the latest TELEports 0.10.1 and when I enter one of the group chats it freezes. I think it is since they feed with some bot automated twitter messages into the group which have on each message some kind of logo of 1-5 MByte of size. I complaint about this in the group, but the answer of the admin is that it is the fault of my tg client when I could not disable the auto download of the images. The name of the group is cubantech if someone wants to have a look. They speak Spanish, ofc.

Any comment on this or any ideas?

We are at v0.11.0 of Teleports, use openstore to see the updates

I did so, but it keeps freezing when I scroll to an area with those GIF‘s.

Btw: Why is the update not automagically offered as in the past?

It should if you check for update in openstore or system settings.

Unless you're in an old OTA with older framework that the newer TELEports requires.

I'm on OTA-18 since July 21.

As I'm now on 0.11.0 and the problem remains, could we please concentrate on the problem itself. Thanks.

@guru Do you get the same on one of the Telegram web apps. If not it might be an issue with TELEports if not it's somewhere else.

I do not face the same problem with tg in any browser and not with the tg client on the iPhone of my company I have to use.

I have here a screenshot of the E4.5 how it looks when I scroll up to an area in history where such GIF's are:

I think it's not the image file, but the textual content of the messages itself. I catched one of the messages with the telegram-cli client, wrote it into a simple text file and sent it with cut&paste with telegram-cli to a tg account. When I then go with TELEports into the account from where I've
sent the text(!!!), it blocks also. The textual content is between the "cut here" lines:

It takes TELEports some minutes to render this text into the screen. The problem is fully reproducible.

I will sent an example to the UBports_[ENGLISH] group. Just check this with the TELEports client.
