so there i was just cloud running around like whoa!!!
so far it works let me know! there is a few things already i wanna do for improvements
<updated!> i fixed i think everything??
...one bug i cannot seem to squish is the ppsspp boot animation it will freeze either rotate and rotate back or background and return and it will work fine ...its annoying as hellmuch more testing works great for me with ff crisis core
UPDATE
god of war now playable at full speed on my phone!!! ....needs testersgames go in /home/phablet/.local/share/org.ppsspp.ppsspp/ROMs
and uses .iso or .cso formatUse adb push from your PC like this:

its up and running but i have yet to play a game ....im trying to get everything stable before i even try also im making what will probably be the bvest archive tool for UT is in the works to for rom and iso management in the works
-
lol went to test a game and realized i need a better archival tool ...so i paused this to build the best archival tool
-
This is cool. Not sure though if gamepad input now works properly in UT but the touchscreen controls would suffice

-
lol i literally had to stop doing this to make a better file archiver app ...as i dont see 7z support anywhere ...all my roms are in 7z format ...lol "xfile archiver"! incoming! ....also i created a newer more modern compression format "xfile" ...has better recovery features plus but should handle all known formats im basically going for a zarchiver clone plus for UT
-
@developerbayman - seems like you shave many yaks at once <grin> Keep up the effort !
-
@oldbutndy im actually shaving like .....idk ..500 yaks? ...lol im slowing porting my entire pylinux software suite to UT with a few extras like this ....a aethersx2 ps2 emulator snes9x maybe retroarch if nobody did that one already? ....im gonna do alot of esp32 and meshtastic stuff ...i mean the sky is the limit ....health and money permitting
-
@developerbayman did I just read meshtastic? Great! Could you also look into meshcore?
Thanks for your efforts.Edit: Btw in the open store there is "Indra" app for basic meshtastic functionality. (I hope I remember the name correctly off the top of my head.
-
@vishcompany meshcore as well actually it will be three in one ....meshtastic/meshcore/meshnet .....i developed meshnet it uses lane bonding over multiple devices allowing up to 3 mbs over ten miles more users in a "mesh"= lower latency
-
@developerbayman That sounds great, looking forward to check it out.

-
im almost there!!! i can get final fantasy crisis core to boot to the boot screen of the game then almost into the title then it crashes .....once i can ACTUALLY play that game ill post here for testing
-
i actually had to slow the execution environment to to the hybris translation actually slowing down execution i have zero clue how this is going to play with game/emulator performance its like it was overloading lomri
-
so far im on like build 82 ....

-
can someone else please try to play god of war ....i have a xaiomi redmi note 9 pro ...its laggy for me i dont know who has a better phone? ...i think its just me as other games run great! could just be the limit of my hardware on UT also lomri could use some tweaks for sure as it was overloading it at first
-
actually i found a rendering bug that is killing performance ...eventually ill update after more testing and fixing right now im focusing on the x86_64 UT port

-
i guess ill call it a success? ....i have one more update planned to give max gamepad support both woreless and usb ....i know it works on MY device so i guess once i do the last update ill try to put it on open store?
-
please note i think the ppsspp intro animation will stay bugged iv come to the conclusion its lomri and how it focuses ....or a simpler explaination is ...i cant figire it out yet ....but has zero affect on game play or performance ....just slightly annoying

You might be overestimating the demand. It's a niche within a niche. There very little people using UT and I imagine within that group there's only a handful of people interested in this.
For me it's also your erratic style of working on these projects.
-
Just one question: Any reason you don't host this project on a git platform, like "Github" or "Gitlab" or "Bitbucket" ? Maybe having to go to google drive links may look a bit weird for some people.
Maybe it could help also to publish more screenshots, or even better a video of your application running on Ubuntu Touch.
Also I'm sure you will get feedback when you publish the app on the openstore, but it might not be ready yet?
Thank you!
