@shargar these links are working for me now

        https://storage.googleapis.com/otas/2015/Tablets/Freezer/Ubuntu/OTA_13_FW_version/cooler-image-stable-6.zip

        https://storage.googleapis.com/otas/2015/Tablets/Freezer FHD/Ubuntu/SP_Flash_Tool_exe_Linux_v5.1612.00.100.zip

Edit: this is what you have to download, be careful because there are other links for downloading but only if you're using Ubuntu 17.10 !!

@shargar do you have your tablet in developer mode and usb debugging allowed?

Have you tried a different usb cable?

Edit: check you have OEM unlocking on too
Edit 2: Oh, I'm remembering now. Do you have modemmanager installed on your Ubuntu? IIRC you need to remove it because is incompatible with SP Flash Tool
Edit 3: Hmm here (https://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/aquaris-m10-with-android.html) it says you can avoid that error running the tool with sudo

              @shargar
The BroM error is usually, a usb driver problem.
              i have the fhd model,
              in terminal i run
              / sudo fastboot devices/
              then start
              / ubports-installer /
              and run the installer.
i looked on "BQ support and could not find ubuntu for hd model, here is the link for FHD model ,it may help you search.

@advocatux. Yes, my tablet is in developer mode, usb debuging, and OEM unlocking.
My cable is ok, i see it with "sudo adb device".
To run the tool, I double click on it. I don't understand how to run it with sudo ? "sudo flash_tool" in a terminal ?

@shargar The link below is nothing to do with Ubports but will as @advocatux has said show you how to remove the modemanager quicker and better than I can type the instructions
                  http://www.mibqyyo.com/en-articles/2015/09/16/ubuntu-android-installation-process-for-bq-aquaris-e4-5-and-e5/#/vanilla/discussion/embed/?vanilla_discussion_id=0
Its near the top from point 3 down. If you have modemanager it will not work as far as I know.
Hope this helps all the best.

Hi ! It's ok for me. I did it. I try to explain with my magic english. So, in my case, the problem was I started the flash_tool without sudo. I went to the tool's files and I wrote sudo ./flash_tool and let's go
Before I tried with modemmanager remove without sucess...
For french peoples : Attention l'outils flash_tool doit être lancé avec la commande sudo ./flash_tool dans un terminal. Avant, bien se place rdans le bon dossier avec la commande cd
