Struggling with Telegram.

Hi

So I deleted my Telegram account yesterday, because I couldn't get it to accept my username...

I haven't been able to reinstate it.

I've
rm -rf .cache/com.ubuntu.telegram
and
rm -rf .config/com.ubuntu.telegram
in the Terminal

I've even deleted the Telegram .config folder.

I can get past the White Screen of Oblivion, but it just hangs when I've tapped in my phone number. Then, if I close the app and open it again, I get the WSoO...

I'm slowly going mad with going round in circles... Any help finding the solution would be appreciated.

No, I'm still on 15.04 (r285) on my N5.

• Uninstall Telegram app

• Delete .cache/com.ubuntu.telegram and .config/com.ubuntu.telegram

• REBOOT the phone

• Install Telegram app again

• (If everything goes as it should go) Enter your login data in Telegram

• Profit!

I thought you'd sorted me, @advocatux! I hadn't deleted the .cache file. But no, it's still hanging on the phone number input.

@Flohack - I think I've used this number with Telegram, yes.

That got me through to the sign in page, and I got a code, but it then didn't do the last bit.

There are rare cases where Telegram does not find all datacenters. Can you please install logviewer App and make a log upload right after it hangs, and send the pastebin link? thx.
