@lakotaubp Yeah, the same happened to me, everything was good until I tried to sync my calendar to my NC account. A fix for now is to detele what is: .local/share/evolution/calendar/system/calendar.ics . Then reboot, and everything should be "working" again. Thx to @advocatux

Ok, calendar crashing is most likely related to this bug.
Clock works fine for me on the Pro 5. Scrolling is much smoother than I have experienced before, it sort of stops softly at every page when scrolling.
Most things work for me. There are a few issues though, e.g. Telegram notifications not working, some strange issue in messaging app re name recognition of phone numbers, but overall a really nice experience. -
Does the clock still not crash after adding an alarm?
-
@hummlbach Just added two alarms and all seemed OK. Came iut of clockapp and it crashed Lets see if they go off tomorrow.
P.S.posted from mx 4 16.04 -
What is your experience with the apps not already on 16.04 framework? Are they working in 16.04 also?
I made some custom webapps and I am using the Authenticator, Tagger, RockWork etc and I wonder what will happen afert upgrading to xenial with those apps -
@hummlbach
Looked fine, but after adding a couple of alarms and changing theme, the clock started crashing.Edit: still crashes after clearing config and cache.
-
@bastos any app that doesn't need to be recompile will work fine on xenial.
BTW authenticator and tagger work fine, I don't know about rockwork
-
@bastos
Re Rockwork, it isn't yet in the xenial store, but I got a version from Brian Douglass (look in the ubuPebblers Telegram group). I got it to work at one point, but now I am having issues with it. For starters, I always get two different Pebble BT devices showing up in system settings; Pebble Time LE F77D and Pebble Time F77D. I can connect to either one, but Rockwork doesn't recognize the BT connection. Sometimes both of them show up as connected in system settings, but after a while one drops off. I have tried to delete and forget the device from both phone and watch, but the same pattern keeps repeating and I get no notifications on the phone at all. -
@hummlbach I can confirm the alarms work. Only problem there abit loud and clock does not stay open long enough to edit volume!.
Theres a dialogue box right on top of the volume slider. -
Please get back inertial scrolling.
-
@ierihon the loss of scroll momentum is a well known-bug and developers are trying to fix it, as you can see in the bug report I linked above (https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues/615).
-
@advocatux Thanks!
Today i give update (2018-W28). Where can i see changelog?
And one more thing: date of stable release - end of July 2018?
-
@ierihon you're welcome
There isn't any changelog for now. Maybe @hummlbach can give us more info about that.
Please, see https://forums.ubports.com/topic/1206/what-are-the-changes-in-releases to get the general idea about the problem
About the end of July 2018 question, are you talking about the updated date on OTA-4 milestone? That's the new target but it isn't set on stone, meaning that would be great if developers fix all the issues for that date but... who knows?

@advocatux Thanks!
