That is an excellent idea!

I am a graphic designer who just moved to Ubuntu Touch and I'm loving it so far. I've been wondering how I could help the community in some ways as I am not a developer and know nothing about coding.

If you're idea does come to life in a way or another, I'd be glad to give some of my time to review and tweak some visuals.

However, I think there's a balance to find so that everyone is happy. I think it is important for developers to respect the Canonical guidelines, after all it is because of the them that the design is so beautiful. On the other hand, we want things to go forward and make the process easy and simple for everyone. I'd be afraid the some developers get frustrated with your proposition.

Thanks guys for trying to help but I think I'm simply to much of a numb to do manual settings... I don't understand any of this. I'll keep my VPN on other devices.

Okay thanks, I guess for now I'll stick to foreign keyboard as it is not a priority. It's better to focus on other areas of UT.

There really is no rush for this but it would be nice to have a French Canadian keyboard on UT. I understand that we are not a big potential user base like France or Germany but we do use a different keyboard. France uses AZERTY, French Switzerland uses QWERTZ and we use QWERTY. There is over 7 million people in Canada speaking french and using this layout:

I would do it but unfortunately I don't know how to code, yet. A QWERTY keyboard with french suggestions of words and french autocorrect and spell check would do the trick for me.

I was wondering if any of you are using ProtonVPN and if so, how I can set it up on my UT. There is only the option of setting it up manually and I couldn't find any info on Proton's website.

I'm in Valais (Wallis) Switzerland and I'd be very interested in meeting UT peers and learning few tricks from you guys. It will depend on my work schedule before I can confirm but weekend is definately more suitable.

I'd be very much interested in a IP/internet call app on UT. I'm sure we are not alone.

Oui comme "bf" le souligne, Signal fonctionne sur une tablet connectée uniquement sur WIFI. Par contre, pour créer un compte vous devez entrer un numéro de téléphone. Un code de vérification vous sera envoyé à ce numéro pour pouvoir acceder à votre compte. Autrement dit, installez Signal sur votre tablette et recevez votre code sur votre téléphone qui loge une carte SIM.
