KeePassXC and Nextcloud would make me a happy user. Having to hack around and try to use alternatives and workarounds over a native app is annoying and not the same. Maybe I should add specifically real mobile versions as well. I can get them both on Manjaro Arm but they're the desktop versions and lets just say touch support ain't the best.

Can North Americans Still Buy the Volla X ?
Is it possible for people in North America to buy a new Volla X ? I see their Indiegogo for the X23 and the Volla 22 but nothing older. Their main store doesn't ship to Canada or the USA. I was hoping to get one as a backup phone but may have to go for the Volla 22.

RE: I'm now fully using Ubuntu Touch on my Nexus 5
I bought my Nexus 5 brand new from Ebay for $147 CAD and have been using Ubuntu Touch for about a week now. Loving it so far. Calling and texting have worked just fine. I have had to find alternatives for soem apps and use the web version for others but it has been an enjoyable experience. My only shock so far is the Nexus 5 only has a 2300 mah battery and i'm used to 3500-4000 so it dies far quicker than what I am used to. I still get pretty much a full day use out of it. I'm just not used to seeing a bettery get ito sub 30% by the time I get home. Hoping to preorder a Braveheart Edition Pinephone soon for the removable battery.

Volla X23 Just Keeps Restarting at Volla Logo
I had been running Volla OS on my X23 but wanted to try out OTA-3. I used the UBPorts Installer to install Ubuntu Touch. I had turned developer mode on and enabled OEM unlocking. The install went without an error message but obviously something went wrong because no OS would boot after. I decided to try using the installer to install Volla OS instead but same issue where no errors occur but it will simply restart when it hits the Volla logo after. I have tried the App Image of the installer as well as the .deb, both times using version 0.10.0. I have even tried using it on Windows but to no avail. I don't care which OS I get on there at this point, i'd just like a functional phone again. One thing I have noticed is that after the first install attempt ther installer detects a phone but says it's an unsupported device so I have to choose to manually select the X23. I can get the phone to the bootloader, to the recovery menu, and to the fastboot screen. Any help would be appreciated.

RE: Volla X23 Won't Boot After Switching to Development Channel
My apologies for the very late reply but to answer your original question you had actually helped me through email earlier in the year in fixing this with that config. Thank you !

RE: Volla X23 Won't Boot After Switching to Development Channel
I figured that this may be the case so I wouldn't say you ruined my day, just confirmed my suspicions.
Yes, I turned the device off, removed the battery, then reinserted the battery and power on after more than ten seconds.
I can access the recovery menu, any chance that helps me ? I still have my Pixel 2 with Ubuntu Touch so i'm not without a phone any way.

Volla X23 Won't Boot After Switching to Development Channel
I just received my Volla X23 preloaded with Ubuntu Touch yesterday. Everything was going smooth except it wasn't working with my sim card. I decided to switch from the stable channel of 20.04 to the development channel to see if this solved anything. It asked me to restart to install the update so I did but now the phone just hangs at the Volla logo. Any ideas on how to at least get the phone booting again ?

Phone Turns Back On After Shut Down
I don't turn my phone off very often so i'm not sure how long this has been going on. I shut my Pixel 2 down last night and it worked fine but I saw a few minutes later it had turned back on. I then opened Terminal and used the command "sudo shutdown now" and once again it shut down but once agin it turned back on after a few minutes. I'm on OTA-25. Has anybody else experienced this ?

Teracube
I think that having Ubuntu Touch running on the Teracube or upcoming Teracube 2e would fit really well. Both phones have replaceable batteries and are big on DIY repairability. Two things that kind of fit well with the FOSS mindset. Not sure if anybody in a position to do so have heard about these yet so I figured I would bring it up.

RE: 16GB Storage Limit ?
@kugiigi said in 16GB Storage Limit ?:
There was a recent update on the Pinephone which is related to storage. Probably this will fix the issue on the Pinetab as well so try to switch to devel and see. I am not sure though how in sync the developments for the Pinephone and PInetab though.
Also, I think the PInetab only has 32GB
EDIT: Sorry, I was thinking of the convergence edition of the PInephoneI switched my PineTab to the development channel and it sees the correct size now. Thanks !
