KeePassXC and Nextcloud would make me a happy user. Having to hack around and try to use alternatives and workarounds over a native app is annoying and not the same. Maybe I should add specifically real mobile versions as well. I can get them both on Manjaro Arm but they're the desktop versions and lets just say touch support ain't the best.

Teracube
I think that having Ubuntu Touch running on the Teracube or upcoming Teracube 2e would fit really well. Both phones have replaceable batteries and are big on DIY repairability. Two things that kind of fit well with the FOSS mindset. Not sure if anybody in a position to do so have heard about these yet so I figured I would bring it up.

RE: 16GB Storage Limit ?
@kugiigi said in 16GB Storage Limit ?:
There was a recent update on the Pinephone which is related to storage. Probably this will fix the issue on the Pinetab as well so try to switch to devel and see. I am not sure though how in sync the developments for the Pinephone and PInetab though.
Also, I think the PInetab only has 32GB
EDIT: Sorry, I was thinking of the convergence edition of the PInephoneI switched my PineTab to the development channel and it sees the correct size now. Thanks !

@PublicLewdness My Nexus 5 is the 32GB model and it's seeing 31.7GB so there isn't a 16GB limit.
Thanks for the input, this is what I was hoping to hear.

You have to resize the user partition the same way one can do for raspberry pi.
When you flash your SD card it's done with a default value then you'll have to adjust to the actual size of the sd card.Thanks for the info, i'll give that a try.

16GB Storage Limit ?
Does Ubuntu Touch have a storage limit of 16GB ? I ask because the PineTab that came preinstalled with Ubuntu Touch only shows 16GB storage even though it comes with 64GB. When I installed the latest images of Ubuntu Touch on my Pinephone Braveheart on a 128GB Micro SD it also only sees a total of 16GB storage. Has anybody else noticed this issue ? Anybody out there with phones north of 16GB storage have it see the correct amount ?

RE: How to answer the phone
Thank you very much for the help. I just experienced this myself. I get so few calls that I wasn't sure it was a bug or something else. I didn't notice anywhere mentioned that they changed how they answer calls (I am pretty sure we used to just tap) but i'll take a feature change over a bug any day.

RE: Paid proprietary apps on Open Store?
I'm not opposed to having paid apps or closed source apps in the app store. Freedom of choice is wonderful and is why most of us are here. I do think many of the developers behind the big apps such as Snapchat wouldn't target Ubuntu Touch due to the low marketshare and the fact that data harvesting is something people who come here are looking to avoid.
Most apps I see in the OpenStore have a link to donate to the app creator through whatever means they listed such as Paypal, Liberapay, Patreon, etc.

RE: I'm now fully using Ubuntu Touch on my Nexus 5
I bought my Nexus 5 brand new from Ebay for $147 CAD and have been using Ubuntu Touch for about a week now. Loving it so far. Calling and texting have worked just fine. I have had to find alternatives for soem apps and use the web version for others but it has been an enjoyable experience. My only shock so far is the Nexus 5 only has a 2300 mah battery and i'm used to 3500-4000 so it dies far quicker than what I am used to. I still get pretty much a full day use out of it. I'm just not used to seeing a bettery get ito sub 30% by the time I get home. Hoping to preorder a Braveheart Edition Pinephone soon for the removable battery.

Importing 2FA keys
Is there a way to easily import keys for either 2FA Manager or Authenticator NG ? On my old Mate 30 I was able to export the keys from FreeOTP+ to json format and move it over to my new Nexus 5 but I don't see an import option.
