Yes, that could be a good idea. I like the filter on the web version.
I see 2 potential problems with the webapps filling the store, mainly for newcomers:
- it gives the wrong idea that there are a lot of apps available, even though many only are webapps. This could be misleading at first.
- it is not easy at first to see that there are different kind of apps and how different they are.
On the other hand, if one installs UT on their phone, maybe they know better and the webapps are not really a problem. I think that the result list in Open store shows clearly which one is an app and which one a webapp.
If people want to go on with the idea of deleting "dead" or outdated apps, an idea could be to add a button in the Open store to report the app. When clicked, it could send an email to the author to ask if they want to remove the app or if they think that it should stay in the store. And after several "reports" and no change from the author, it could put the app on a list for someone to review and eventually remove manually.
