E5 has been the first phone of my son. And UT his first mobile OS 
. But he wants more apps, especially games, so I may try /e/ OS with my old FP2. If my E5 still stands brave, it may be the first phone of my daughter also!

@mihael Actually there is an undo button ! I didn't noticed it because it is not avalaible in my BQ E5. I assume it is because I still use the Canonical image. But I have UBports in my BQ M10FHD and there is an undo button. I agree that it is even better since it notifies and let you undo in case it was a mistake. I think it is the perfect solution for most of the actions.
I still think that a confirmation dialog after sending a message (or any action that you can't undo) would be good. Its a good thing to know that an action went successfully and that nothing crashed, especially now we are testing this new (and so good !) app.

But yes, a GUI would be so useful! Maybe that script could be a basis to it?
I do use this feature very often with my BQ E5. I just push the power button. I causes two things :
If I push the button a second time my screen switch on and I still can see my incoming call. I can answer or reject it if I want to. In the end the incoming call stops and I have a missing call in my call log.

@guru Sorry I was talking about Dekko 2 (0.1.2, experimental release). I have the same thing with Dekko 1 (0.6.20, no longer supported) than you told. Both Dekko 1 & 2 versions are available in the Canonical image but only Dekko 2 with UBports. The undo button is not invasive as it appears and disappears (=adding then removing 1 row in the email list).
You can easily delete several emails at the same time by doing a long press in one of them. That will activate the "multiple selection page". After selecting the emails you can do some actions like deleting, mark as unread, etc. The problem would be the "several" word : how many emails can you select in order to successfully achieve the action ? I don't know but I think that my E5 will crash if I try with 40 in one time

@opolork not an expert but maybe an hardware problem? Or... did you tried to re-install UT doing "wipe-data"? (don't forget to backup before!
@hans1977se You can do this using the "UT Tweak Tool" app. Go to the applications menu and select an app. There's a check box called something like "avoid the suspension of the application". It is not selected by default. Thanks to that option I'm able to listen to music or have skype calls and do something else at the same time. It even works with the screen switched off.
@opolork Sure You should have a look at these scripts, they are very promising. I already use them when needed, and they are very useful. I hope that could be useful to you also.

@danfro Yes i did uninstall the old Cinny and that's it! New Cinny sends the notifications now Thank you very much. I'll try the bridges with signal and whatsapp and give you my feedback.

@danfro already done that. Both Cinny apps are available under notifications. That's why I was thinking on some interference between the 2 apps.
Hello, I installed Cinny UT (from Danfro) via the openstore, but notifications do not work. Maybe it's because the old Cinny was already installed? I do receive notifications from the old Cinny. Will removing the old Cinny allow the new one to show notifications? Or should I remove both versions and then install only the new one?
It does not for me fp3 focal. That is a shame since i used it a lot in the past years.

@Aloys it was the same for me. Is anyone knowing why the icon says 4g on the menu but no connection at the top bar?

I had the same issue some weeks ago with my FP3+ on stable Focal with Free operator in France.
I suddenly lose data connection without any event or explanation. Before that it was perfect. After, data was available for about 30 sec after reboot and then get lost. I tried so much things I can t remember. Maybe some of you may remeber that period in the French Telegram group...
I reset the apn, did reboots on diverses manners, changed sim slot, changed sim card, wipe phone to reinstall various images (xenial, focal, stable, dev...), switch back to android (data worked!) and back to UT (no data again!), tried a ton of stuff in the terminal thanks to support from the French community, etc. Nothing ever worked for me!
After about 1 month I remembered some advice from the Fairphone tutorial. When you reinstall Android, you have to do it without a sim card in your phone. I never did that to install Android or UT and never had a pb.
But that time I did reinstall Android without a sim card on the phone, then put the sim and tested data connection, and then reinstall UT without the sim and... That time it worked! So that might be the solution for you also.
