Maybe it expects some cookies or useragent, I am not sure why it didn't want to response properly.
Hello guys, recently I was playing a bit with podbird, investigating long refresh times. So I made some changes, that should noticeably improve refreshing times, and maybe fix unability to refresh some podcasts.
There is changed logic, that it checks episodes only added after last refresh.
But if you open some podcast from podcast list and than pull to refresh, it would refresh all episodes from that podcast.

If refresh time is still too long, please report database size stored in ~/.local/share/com.mikeasoft.podbird/Databases
My database has around 15MB and I have around 80 podcasts added, but speed is reasonably good.
It contains fixes for pinephone from @phoenixlandpirat too.

I am not sure what happend to emojis, some formatting was improved. There are some NSFW posts in /r/All, but probably Reddit is censoring some of them (I have nothing to do with that). I added ability do hide NSFW posts.

Thanks for awesome work with 5.12 migration. I would love to ask what will change about camera backends regarding pinephone and halium devices support. I have OnePlus 3T, way to get camera working before was to install gst-droid. Currently on devel installing gst-droid will downgrade some packages and taking photos is not working with or without it.
@rik Hello, new Podbird was released, you can set up frequency of automatic updates during start up to 3 days. If that is not enough, you can edit config file in
~/.config/com.mikeasoft.podbird/com.mikeasoft.podbird.conf
property responsible for that is

Thanks for using the app. Next release v 1.1 is getting ready, hopefully this week. Some features are missing, there is a lot of to do. I would love to hear feedback, what features are you missing most? Crashes in both Clock and Calendar apps has been fixed 
Splash image in gallery app is weird, but it can be fixed with new higher resolution icon.
Issue with not remembering settings across app (Morph, Podbird, etc) restarts still persist for me, phone goes to sleep during video playback too. No any other issues for me
There is an issue with splash image in quickddit too, but there is too small. And clock app crashes only when there is any alarm.
Way smoother than halium 7.1.
Bottom edge is normal, but I would like that to be configurable, I liked that button. Bottom arrow in some apps is moved a bit up, not sure why

I started using v10 without modifications a week ago, most things are working fine and many rootfs issues was fixed with switching to android9 branches. Once a day I need to reboot phone due cellular network, opening camera is causing system crash, dash charging and tri-state switch probably don't work.
@dobey would love to try, but using android9 branch. Would be possible to sneak that commit there?
