I meet the same probleme.
So I tried to made the fastboot flash, but i received this answer :

Sending 'aop_a' (180 KB) OKAY [ 0.010s]
Writing 'aop_a' FAILED (remote: 'Flashing is not allowed for Critical Partitions')
fastboot: error: Command failed

Perhaps i miss something...

@domubpkm for shure... but if nobody demand for, they will never work to adapt an other OS.

The version 3.1.0 accept to be installed... but shutdown each time. same after reboot.

it indicate errors on 'CAM-SOC' but i can't understand what that mean... is it a physical probleme, or a software one ? I don't know...

It is the fist time that i change piece in a phone. Is there any special software thing to do, to validate the change ?

i tried to reinstall android 8. yes.
but it is worst (the camera app won't start). So i come back UT.
if it is not better i will try lineageOS (juste to compare... but without hope).

@Keneda I already tried to back android 8... nothing more : the camera app crashed every time. (this is not the case in UT)

I recently change the camera of my Sony xperia X (he fall, so the camera was broken).
the model seems good (sell for xperia X & xperia X performance).
but the new camera is not detected : the photo app give only the front camera.
I reinstall the OS, but it change nothing.
what can I do ? Is it a probleme from somewhere else ?

in fact, it will be good to have an option to download the vocals (in order to read it with an othet app).

• from Iphone to UT : OK
• from UT to Iphone : probleme to read it (format .ogg) possible to download.
• from android to UT : impossible to read, able to transfert (format .m4a)
• from UT to android : OK

i can't found the pure maps app on the open store for UT 20.04 - ota 11 (sony xperia X).
i tried to install it from the web browser, but, no version of the app works...
why the last version for UT 20.04 is not available ?

@Yumi I understand what you mean.
But actualy, i found lomiri is not ready to be used as a PC (no desktop...). And UT don't already have some basics computers apps (libre office, vlc, firefox, scribus, gimp...). But in fact, phosh or kde mobile are not realy better.
i made a try with kde desktop (on postmarketOS) : more customizable, but pmOS is unstable on oneplus6.
So, the quest continue ! (why not mobian + kde desktop if possible?)
