RE: Starting a series of videos about Ubuntu Touch
@domubpkm, my comment is out of subject, but there are alternative to play-store (if you need it).
aurora store is a miror without google account.
f-droid is store for open-source apk.
and every things works on lineageOS. (but also the spyware). -
RE: Whatsnew: Whatsapp Web with Electron.
hello,
I notice that the keyboard already return to 'letters' after juste one 'number' is tape. not realy practical.
It is specificaly on whatsnews and signal.
Is it juste for me ? or a parameter for the keyboard.
It seems to me that the keyboard is specific in these apps ? -
RE: unstable keyboard
okay. great. I update.
previous version, less stable on 24.04-2.x.
better on 24.04-1.2 -
RE: Ubuntu Touch Q&A 185 Call For Questions.
hello
we have an exchange about the indicator area. we propose 3 questionning way :Is it a good idea to add a usb menu : to connect the device (charging/file exchange/connection sharing) ?
we found there is too much icons. so,what about 'group' some indicators by familly ?
link : for usb link, bluetooth...
interface : keyboard, rotation, (external display in the futur)the usage of the file icon seems not clear : no many apps use it. is it pertinent to group it with somthing else ?
thanks.

RE: USB parameters on headband ?
XD
I know. It was juste au suggesion topic...
I have no any competences in the UT coding. 'talk it easy'.
But, it is to propose a direction when UT project leaders will thinking about this part. -
RE: USB parameters on headband ?
@gpatel-fr no,no, totaly in the topic. It could be a place to exchange aboute ideas to increase the comfort of the indicator area.
in my mind, the displayed icons (without drop-down) are clear and usefull.
my idea was to acces easily to the options (with a drop-down menu for exemple). without launching the parameters app. -

RE: USB parameters on headband ?
Indicator bar : okay for this name

I don't know this usage pour the file indicator. It make sens. But, not all the app use it ?
If we merge some indicator, it is important that the logic is obvious : for exemple, blutooth + keyboard will be not correct in my mind...

RE: USB parameters on headband ?
If there was an icon that I'd remove in favour of Usb, it would be 'Files'.
Yes, I agree. I don't understand too.

(I have SD card and nothing in this part)you're wright, Pearaps it could be possible to 'group' some actual indicators. If file is usefull (?) it could be group with an usb and blutooth in a connection&exchange icon.
I think that less icons will be better actualy.
in the same direction, the rotation is on his own... It will be certainly less usfull, but it could be group with keyboard in a interface icon. (with - why not in the futur - 'external display' ?) -
RE: USB parameters on headband ?

RE: Erreur on the hour : UTC ?
@gpatel-fr

very strange : the return is good, but the hour on phone is bad -
RE: Erreur on the hour : UTC ?
@gpatel-fr I tried 'paris' & 'rennes'. same probleme.
I will back for the output of terminal. -
RE: Erreur on the hour : UTC ?
I have 2 xperia X (the 2nd have hardware issues).
probably a probleme specific with xperia X.
I havn't this issue on UT20.04. -
RE: Wish list : which apps do you need?
Hello,
personnaly, I m found of the fossify apk (on android - https://f-droid.org/en/packages/org.fossify.calendar/ ). Calendar, note, contacts... they are great quality and cover a large needs.
most of all, it will help androids (lineage) users to switch to UT...
I don't know if the code is realy open and how difficult it is to port them (i have no any competences in app building). but it could be agreat advantage for UT ? -
RE: Initiale note app on open-store
@gpatel-fr thanks.
but i don't clearly understand... is there a security issue ? no probleme for daily use ? -
RE: Initiale note app on open-store
