@hobanwashburn You came onto this forum, and created multiple threads and a comment in an already existing thread, basically ranting about how UT is not a traditional Linux distro, and telling us what we should do.

So yes, that is "stomping in." And here you are attempting to refute by doing more of the same.

There is documentation about how to contribute with development. There are chat groups. Developers actively help people. We have places to open tickets about issues. So clearly, you didn't even take the initiative to attempt to contribute.

Legacy apps aren't going to work well on a phone, and in many cases even with an external dislpay and mouse/keyboard, it will still be an inferior experience to using those apps on a real PC, even if everything was working perfectly on the UT side.

What do you intend to do ?
Flash and HTML5 are two different technology so I don't think you can.
But everything is possible so if you're willing to do the job you might get there...

@peter-gamma The OP already mentioned that LibreOffice works on other PinePhone OS's, but not in Libertine on Ubuntu Touch. Repeatedly mentioning this fact does not help bringing a solution to the issue closer.

While I genuinely am happy that you have found a solution that suits your specific needs, It would be more helpful finding a way to move this project forward in this regard, rather than repeatedly, and it seems in every thread you can, mentioning that it works for you on another distro. I would like to remind you that this is the Ubuntu Touch forums, after all.
