@arubislander i can open the webpage, search for chromium for ut, click install, it opens the open store app and stays again with the eternal blue line. There is definitely tons of bugs in these apps or in the UT. This far from normal! I only have the judicial country wide blockers! Like several Russians sites are blocked in entire EU.

@Moem thanks but i do not use telegram. @Moem swipe up in the "calls" app does nothing. Keeps showing the number buttons to dial a number. Cannot find out where are the missed calls or made calls logs.

I am facing some difficulties to use some UT apps. For example, i did not find the way to view the made and received phone calls!
Where are the manuals locations for the applications to view it as a user? Thank

I spoke too soon. The installation of apps went back to the same: when i go to store and choose the app, never appears the install. Only the blue line animation keeps going on forever. Now i am using the UT 24.04 (24.04-1.2).

@Moem this was solved with a new flash install using UBports. Thank you.

I used again the UBports to flash the UT to the phone. This time i choosed the stable version and now it works. However,the GPS get connected, when i go to uNav, never makes a search neither can connect to the GPS. The Bluetooth connected to my mouse and keyboard but it does not work (BT4.2).

@sixwheeledbeast reformatting like windows style is not a good path. Also, getting a friendly support like "only happens to you" from a software on which i have absolute no control is also a bad path to follow. Also, "you have a failure hardware" or "usb cable is broken" is also not a good sign.

UBports is suppose to handle all by itself. Did not for 3 times. I reinstalled FP android 13 and tried again.

I do not understand how so many bugs are related to a wrong installation made by UBports (not me).
All appear to be standard software bugs but okay.
I will repeat the FP android 13 recovery and repeat the UBports installation. But i am already loosing the hope on using UT. Simple, it does not work.

Also, why can't i install Firefox? Due to the kernel version of UT?
I understand the efforts the people is making but if it does not work... does not work. I already spent money buying a FP5. It starts to appear to be a bad investment.

@sixwheeledbeast since i stop using windows, i tend not to follow the path of "reformat and reinstall". Also, i had already an updated and that should also had overwrite the original install. Also, on the first time, i did reinstall 3 times (no cable issues and no hardware issues).

@gpatel-fr now it started installing out of the blue but the animation keeps going. So, it installs but the animation still appears.

@pparent I tried both ways, however both end up going throw the same provider.

@pparent I enter the Open Store, seatch for a Authenticator app, Click on 2FA Manager, click on the green install button and the transfer animation stays forever.

What do you suggest to use as linux in mobile phones? The Fedora, postmarketOS do not appear to be better (from my perspective)

@arubislander i am in Portugal. By law all ISP block some IPs. Which IP is used for the installation? I can check it.

I got one a new one this week and installed UT. Here are my current problems:

• Cannot install apps
• Cannot connect to BT4.x devices
• several bugs still going around
