The existing port for Moto G 2014 is not halium based. It is ported like all the other working devices. The port is from early 2018.

RE: Which version of UT do I have?
The Moto 2G (Titan) is supported by Walid.
If you have the actual installation with Xenial (16.04) you can find the version under system settings > info. Today only channel devel exists, but there are nearly daily builds (OTA).

RE: Updates on Mir and OTA-8 (and watch out, Edge channel users)
Which channel? I'm on rc and I got an update last Wednesday (preOTA8).
RE: Bluetooth car(Audi RS4) connection doesn't work
There are several threats about this issue, see https://forums.ubports.com/topic/457/the-bluetooth-thread/18 and the files on github (e.g. https://github.com/ubports/ubuntu-touch/issues/766)
RE: August 15 devel channel update renders your device unable
Thanks to @advocatux I could flash the old image to my Moto G2 Titan. The command is
ubuntu-device-flash --verbose --server=https://system-image.ubports.com touch --device=titan --channel=16.04/community/walid/devel --revision=121
I had success and my device is fine again.
RE: "The" Bluetooth Thread
My phone is a bq Aquaris E5HD ubuntu edition and now loaded with UBports image. My car is a Citroen C4 Picasso with the MyWay system from Harman. The version of this system is rneg_D_R50b_R50.03. That should be the newest one.
The behaviour is like this:
First when the two sides dont now eachother and starting the connection/ coupling from the car, all is working. It is possible to make calls and to see the addressbook of the phone.
After this when trying again the connection is not made anymore.
The phone says that the car is connected, but the car says the phone is coupled, but not connected and connection is not possible.
