The sad answer were no. It has USB C 2.0. And does not work to HDMI conversion.

RE: About external display (Hard to answer probably)
Thanks for answering as always.
I been looking around on Github and found people having problems with volla. I also found people having problem with the specific screen. So now, I am going to do some work for you. Bought the USB hub. going to use my standard screen and have a go. I let you know!
Cheers!

About external display (Hard to answer probably)
Hello,
I was thinking to connect an E-ink display, Boox Mira.
https://shop.boox.com/products/mira
But before I buy, I wonder if it is possible to connect to my Volla UT phone?
It seems to be a pretty bad support from Boox, but at least some. But in general, does UT have problems with various external displays?
(Also, going to but an USB/HDMI hub) https://www.proshop.se/Dockning/Natec-Fowler-docking-station-USB-C-HDMI/3133084
That I assume work well with UT?

RE: Universal UI
yeah, lets call it HUD. that is also costumizable by the user. Its not a perfect solution. But its good enough.

RE: Universal UI
no, not an on screan keyboard. but similar. instead of using the webbrowsers interface for example, you have your own overlayed interface. Back, forward, home, new tab and so on. As they all got short-commands.
Anyway. I guess its something I am going to look into myself.

Universal UI
Hi,
as I am not the best programmer, I still can offer interesting thoughts. And I was wondering. If we now have on screen keyboard pumping keys and shortcut. Why not have on screen Interface? meaning, you put firefox, chromium, falkon, brave or what ever browser you like. put it in fullscreen meaning no interface, to then enable an on screen UI with tabs and what not, pumping in commands to the browser. new tab, back one page and so forth. Isnt that a good app to help both libertine and snap? And all the glorious programs there is.
Any thoughts?

RE: Loqui on 20.04
Yes,
I sort of meant the service of a whole, having everything in one app. But to the look of it,the hostility from all made it imposible.
however. I still hope for a whatsapp update. its just the UI that got messed up resently. A pretty good separate app, but only for xenial still.

RE: Loqui on 20.04
Yeah. Its's a good source for this as I have an eye on Volla's progress there. Thanks for the tip.
Yet, really sad when it would have been a dream app. I hope we could donate or something.

Loqui on 20.04
Hello
I got happy over Loqui's existance as whatsapp on UT doesnt work anymore. Both are made for Xenial but installed on Focal. And I just Dont know why its not ported yet. Without complaining, I just dont know how big of a process it is to port between Xenial and Focal.
Now to the real question. When I run the Loqui, the only chatt service available is Jabber. No whatsapp or facebook or anything.
And I wonder if it is due to my Xenial app on Focal install. or is the app broken in general?

RE: Snap discussion.
Thanks for the discussion guys!
Gave me some insight of Snap. Its going to be a interesting future of that I think. Personally I have to wait for volla as kernel and such goes through them.

RE: Howto : chroot debian with X support instead libertine ubuntu
going to check it out. Even though Snap is looking promising, I will still do it because of your dedication.
Just a little question. Having no password for sudo su I wonder the security risk of it?

RE: Snap discussion.
Yes for sure. And I tinker a lot. But obviusly things I cant do either.
In fact, If I am going to contribute to the community better. Its going to be UI.

RE: Snap discussion.
It shouldnt be that komplicated. but that is how you automize it. As GUI always suffer in linux.
And the dynamics of linux is that you can tinker with everything. But the power of linux is its free code and programs. That or you underastimate the task of making Blender, Darktable. It takes years. So use it.

RE: Snap discussion.
I see! Thanks for the answer.
to me it sounds promising. As Libertine is just as bad with UI, more or less. The keyboard however. Hope it happens soon.
The UI part in general should be fixed. With math and/or AI redesigning the scale of things. Or just a repository of UI settings, themes and what not.
Hope to see something like that soon. Because that is the power of linux!

Snap discussion.
Hello!
How is Snap working for you guys? I see little information here. And at the moment Snap doesnt work on my Volla yet. The snap installer need modify the kernel a bit, and that has not been done.
So, I turn to other people. Is it working? Is it great? Can you install the Snap apps they show on their webpage?
Maybe I live in a dream. But it seams like an amazing solution compared to Libertine?

RE: How to remove unwanted apps from home screen
Hey, thanks for the answer. And for Moem, I was just hoping you had the answer
I am running 20.04. And libertine installs a looot of things you dont want sometimes. But thats when you are a bit experimental. For example, If you want Falkon to run, and get the installation completed. You need to install kde window manager first. (I am sure there is a smarter way, but I dont know one)
And when you install KDE window manager. You get a bunch of system apps like network manager and stuff.
So, no terror. But it would be nice to be able to clean it up. All other apps are just in .local as .desktop. but not libertine stuff.

RE: snapz0r on OnePlus 6T?
I got Volla, but multiboot for X23. you think they will fix that?
