Hi @Lakotaubp @MrT10001, However, it is also often forgotten that most of the devices used are already in an older and used condition. This can significantly hinder troubleshooting and test exclusions. An example of this is the simple soiling of the USB ports and/or a weak battery. As long as people are willing to actively help with the problem (including investing time and reading articles in the forum) in order to find the solution, it is fun to help someone. But I can also see that the already well-founded reasons and solutions for known problems should be summarized in a kind of device wiki, and not laboriously searched for in the forum (with the - sorry - bad search function). Kind regards Mario Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

@messayisto comment: thanks for your answers. Indeed I suceded to pull at least half of my personal data using adb. But it was complicate and the other half is gone, i.e. all of my notes in the nottes-app. I think a solid backup solution for a normal user is urgent.

Isn't the normal behavior that clicking on the message itself opens a textbox where you directly reply, and clicking on the message-icon right of the message-text opens the full message inside the message-app?

Hello, To install UT on a device it is very often necessary to downgrade the Android version to the same one as the Halium port before starting the installation. This is often tedious for many users. Will it be possible in future to integrate these low-layer Android partitions into the installer and allow it to flash Ubuntu Touch completely and directly without having to reinstall an old version of Android? Thank you very much! Stanwood
