    I am a big fan of the new design in 20.04.
    The transparency effects make Ubuntu Touch look much more modern without sacrificing much performance.

    @ubportsnews
    I walked away from it. I tried it, but I still walked away from it because there are too many bugs. In addition nimmer still too little in software are usable. I am then completely switched to e/foundation. Unfortunately still no APKs usable. Example of this. Use Matrix elemet does not go on Ubuntu and Fluffy is too bad and not as usable as Element. One example of many.
    Although, I still use that on my onplus3T. Unfortunately, the battery is getting on in years and doesn't last like half an hour. Still, I'm curious about it. I found the approach of postmarkeros under posh quite great. there APKs should be just as usable. Is available in the installer, but unfortunately it all does not run properly yet. Maybe UBports will get it right.

    Bin ich von abgegangen. Hatte es versucht, bin dennoch davon abgegangen, da zu viele Bugs vorhanden sind. Zudem nimmer noch zu wenig an Software nutzbar sind. Ich bin dann komplett umgestiegen auf e/ fundation. Leider immer noch keine APKs nutzbar. Beispiel dazu. Nutze Matrix elemet geht nicht auf Ubuntu und Fluffy ist zu schlecht und nicht so nutzbar wie Element. Ein Beispiel von vielen.
    Obwohl, ich das auf meinem onplus3T immer noch nutze. Leider ist der Akku in die Jahre gekommen und hält nicht mehr lange, wie eine halbe Stunde. Trotzdem bin ich mal gespannt. Ich fand den Ansatz von postmarkeros unter posh ganz toll. da sollten APKs genauso nutzbar sein. Ist im Installer vorhanden, doch leider läuft das alles noch nicht richtig. Vielleicht bekommt das UBports mal hin.

    @homer That issue is only on devel and does not apply to OTA-24. It will be corrected before it gets anywhere near RC. JFI check and see if you have another update most days there are two, it might fix it but here is not the right place for that issue.

    @bocephus I have similar sentiments about excessively rounded corner and notches/punchholes but you should calm down 😄 There are valid reasons why Fairphone went for those. I think mainly because available screen components are mostly like that and they can't ask someome to create special components just for them considering their size as a company. Also, it's just the truth that people nowdays expect "edge to egde" screen. Personally, the size, the notch and the rounded corners are turn offs aside from the fact I can't really buy it here in Asia 😄 But if it is easily available here, I might actually consider it because I've been looking for a long term UT phone as my daily driver.
