To follow topic , the only glitche i get is having to reboot so that updater ''hook'' to wifi , look like a ''standard'' procedure here .

@vverve Does UT use a 'location' setting like Android, so that it automatically prefers WiFi over cellular, When at home (or other good WiFi place) ?

@oldbutndy If you mean that it turns WiFi on/off depending on your location, then no. If WiFi is on it'll connect automatically to known networks and, when connected, prefer that over cellular. But nothing I know of to trigger WiFi specifically based on location.

Yikes ...got qualcomm kernel crash dump after updating..
it's fine now , hold power button, reboot x2 .
Hmm , fear not bleeding edge , could be a glitche of device itself.
123 now , it all look ok.

Hey @pparent ,minbrowser in 24.04-2.x keyboard is ''broken'' with that device (topic here) , what been changed to break it is a mystery to me and since when .
There is plenty of logs about min browser ,maalit-server logs are confusing...ah ah , like :Cannot create children for parent , your name appear often...
if i can give more details just ask.

edit; same device with 24.04-1.x the keyboard is ok .
edit2; -2.x , Uwolf losed the keyboard too.

From what I know all the gtk/XWayland apps are affected. Something was probably changed in the system concerning maliit. ( Chromium for UT, Min browser, Signal UT, uWolf, Rocket.chat, ect... )

For now I cannot test 24.04-2.x, maybe later. Probably system devs should know more about that problem, and what may have been changed in regard to OSK and maliit.

you are saying 24.04-1.x vs 24.04-2.x, right ?
Could you list a few comparisons between the 2 version ?
What works well or not in each ?

@oldbutndy Install of 24.04-1.x over 2.x ,without deleting user data (which is not recommended ?!?) went smooth .
Hmm , for now i see only one difference , no ethernet beta feature that i never tried , volte is working , bluetooth ,all basic functions seems ok, i got a whole bunch of apps installed from 2.x not tested yet in 1.x .
