I'm curious, Alfred, why did you chose WebKit for your new browser instead of Gecko? In theory a firefox-like browser would be able to have addons (e.g. uBlock Origin).
Or is there something that makes it impossible to do since all the repos of firefox.clickable projects I could find are abandoned?
Lately I've tried daily-driving LineageOS on another phone because of the few apps I need, most importantly Firefox with uBlock. But having used only iPhones before UT I just can't deal with how unintuitiv Android is so I'm back with UT. It just needs a great native browser, not in Waydroid.

Just curious: Any news about the brand new Brax3 device with Ubuntu Touch? It's almost ready to be shipped (March 2024).

5G is already working on the Fairphone 5 Focal devel channel. Can we expect 5G on other devices too like the Fairphone 4 or will it have to wait until Noble? Thanks.

I was wondering what alternative to use under UBT to replace Google Calendar? (Phase by phase, I'm firing the google tools still present in my environment)

@Vlad-Nirky Adding a NextCloud account in Settings -> Accounts should give you the option of syncing a calendar. I have never used it though, so I do not know how well it works. But the option is there, so it is meant work.

@Vlad-Nirky I'm using the calendar of my E-Mail-Provider (posteo) and it's working like expected with caldav.

i have integration from calendar with my own nextcloud running for a year. And it works like a charme.

Hello together,
are there any progress in the possibility to use assisted gps, to have a quicker fix? Sometimes it takes a lot of time to get a fix. And often if you have no time at all, you have to reboot the phone and wait 20min to get the fix.
So agps would be a big improvement.
