Working VoLTE reports, share your experience

@Charly
I don't know how it works in a mobile network, but in an enterprise network, when you use voIP, a non-compressible part of the bandwidth is reserved for voice (per 64k). Perhaps your 4G coverage isn't good enough to allow voice and data to coexist, and by giving priority to voice, it switches to 3G, which doesn't work at the same time as 4G, which it keeps active to continue voLTE.

@Vlad-Nirky
Thanks. Next time I will test it with sapot. -
@Charly
Yes or open a terminal and
ping www.google.com
or
ping 195.238.2.21 -
I tested it again today. First I ping a web page, then I have called my mobilbox. When the mobile connection was set up, pinging was no longer possible.

@Charly
Damn, that's too bad
I guess, it's it's working for xiaomi ( i have made the same test and the ping continue) that could be fixed.
Perhaps could you fill a bug report. -
Thank you for your support

@TotalSonic I see the Note 9 Pro doesn't support T-Mo's band 71. How's the voice-call support in suburban basements and parking garages and rural areas? E.g., do you ever miss calls when driving on Interstates between major cities?
-
@RobTheBold
I can't answer because of my european location and this is a north america specific band.
Perhaps could you ask this question on Telegram miatoll channel? -
@RobTheBold - I have no plans to drive on the interstate between cities any time soon, plus I don't answer calls while driving anyway - and there are close to no basements here in central TX, plus this is a test device with a cracked screen, not a daily driver for me. So I am afraid I can't answer your questions at all.
