it's made out of mostly markdown files iirc so it shouldn't be too diffy to get into -

at me, that is exactly what I had in mind. The next time someone comes up and says 'I want to help, what can I do?' this is one of the things we can point them towards. It's nice because there is no coding experience needed. -

@dobey in portugal, MMS costs 30 cents.
not being able to use MMS is a bonus for me.
and pulsesms can do groups without MMS.

i wished all phones would run linux instead of f******
googleandroid.and global 2g + 3g would be free, accessible everywhere. i don't need 4g or any higher.
phone calls and MMS should obviously be free as well, world wide. charge premium for voice quality, video, etc.
more to the topic, i wished that smartphones could be turned into "feature" phones, with:
- last longing battery
- an emergency physical button to call pre defined contacts, including cell tower emergency
- 12cm (4 inches) screen at most
- light and small enough that it wouldn't break when falling
i would keep a 23cm screen one as a backup phone + powerbank ultrabook with screen projection on the other pocket, with the exact same os, everything synced... but only because i work with tech.
everyone would have 2 phones.

to me, a much better way to handle this is making lists of words per user. everyone can choose their own filters, and how to handle their sensitivity.

I'd like to see a different windowing system activated when docked so legacy applications will work natively in desktop mode.

Long press for left click.
Toggle switch for long press in browser to turn off edit fuctions (copy, paste, etc) this makes an issue of a menu displaying when using browser based games that require long presses.

A nice feature I think, would be automatic toggling between silent mode and sound at specified times. Typically, it would be great if the phone went into silent mode when I start putting the kids to bed in the evening, and stayed silent until I got up in the morning, without having to remember to flip that switch every day!

Yes with a team of 100.
There are wishes for a long long time.The primary focus is to maintain the OS.
Another focus point should be recruting (in all the possible ways) more developers to create new features.
More developers is paramount to add new features. -

What would be nice is a feature similar to what we find on Ubuntu desktop: whenever the system crashes, or an app, or something goes wrong behind the gui, a window pops up to ask if we'd like to file a bug report. It then sends a message containing relevant logs, that we can review beforehand. I'm posting this here because I'm aware it's quite far beyond the kind of support ubports team is able to achieve but I can't help but think it would be extremely useful for devs, especially in the early phase of an OS. Centralizing error logs of targeted devices would somewhat save the time spent on the forum asking "how does my app fare on your device on such branch" or "can you report camera behavior after this update".
