i do not get higher than version 150.
Also will the Windows installer work on Windows 8.1 x64?
I get a not working good message because a problem and the application must shutdown when try to startup the EXE file.

@josele13 said in Ubuntu Touch market share?:
Most websites know how much daily access they have on their server, most of us are registered in the community and by the monthly OS downloads you can know that too, I think invasion of privacy is something else
but i can't see monthly OS download? and no graphic.
Can Ubports create tool too measure how much Ubuntu Touch users there are?
Or have any idea how much percent it's market share is? compare in: https://gs.statcounter.com/os-market-share
However i think now because every measure is an invasion of privacy.
which has ubuntu touch.
But i hope that Amazon music can working, or maybe a download function.
@spctrl updating and solved, thank you!
I don't think anyone would want that, if only because of the high price and breaking the warranty. But is it possible to install and run Ubuntu Touch on iPhone?
@keneda said in Annoying ticker sound in the background.:
Did you try cleaning phone jack with isopropylic alcohool/ F2 contact cleaning fluid then blowing it (battery out and drying before pit it back) ?
No but i say again every headphone do it. So is not a problem with the headphone jack.
Not sure if this is Ubuntu Touch or BQ 4.5, but the music/sound gets out the loudspeaker when headphone disconnected. This is not desirable at me.
Is there some way the sound auto muted or pauze music when disconnected?
@keneda Yes it is not intended on the headphone.
The BQ is playing a anoyying ticker sound in the background of the headphones. Is mostly start when some audio, but then if i turn sound on 0, the sound still playing.
I have try to record it, but don't hear annything, i think the microphone noise obstructed the sound. Phone mics are mostly noisy.
but can i also playing offline (Download) Spotify songs?
And the playing song, is that in buffer to save mobile data?
EDIT: Working now, but can i also playing offline (Download) Spotify songs?
@lundrin17 Error 404 page not found.
I can download zip, tar, etc. but don't understand it how can install that with ubuntu touch tweak tool.
Currently at me only Deezer works.
Try this for Spotify: https://forums.ubports.com/topic/2925/how-to-use-spotify-on-ubuntu-touch
But don't have success.
In Morph, Amazon give error: Play with App, for best experience, use the App
I think it must been possible to bypass this check and use webplayer?
I don't sure i'm right, but Amazon music don't use DRM?
There is a wonder, i don't know how but the volume get high now, about the same as the iphone goes. There is no low volume anymore.
@cliffcoggin
Yes 70 dB is enough for me (mostly too loud), my ears are very sensitive.
But sometimes i have audio recorded in a very low volume (voice recorder, telephone call or a YouTube video with low volume), it is better too have some reserves. Then it is possible to get not more than 40-50 dB out, too low in noisy environments.
I'm not in favor of lowering the max volume excessively, better a warning and common sense. We are not children that everything has to be pre-cooked.
Our Dutch NPO Start used this a sinds then the video's are not playing anymore on Ubuntu Touch browser(s).
@keneda YouTube video? (youtube is working on Ubuntu Touch so you can compare the volume with the same video on another device) Also you can put a mp3 file on it (send it over with WeTransfer, TransferXL etc.)
You can easy use a vacuum cleaner to check. If you heard music louder at max volume, it is must be more than 80 db. (if you have in ears, remove eartips so the earphones don't isolate, at over ear a pen or pencil between the cover to create a leak.
Is it not possible to compare the Meize MX4 with the Nexus 5? (however both running Ubuntu? You can check if max volume is the same.
And you can compare to
On my BQ 4.5 it is very low. Only 70 dB at max volume. (62 with children headphones)
With speaker it is also very low, it is not only with headphones.
How loud sounds your Ubuntu touch phone? (please at brand and type), same even loud as Android and iOS?
Thank you!
