@bgriffis said in Any US users on Mint Mobile with MMS working? Can you share APN settings or any other tricks?: I forgot to add that wifi is enabled and my phone goes between L and 5g depending on where I am in the house. But I did not turn wifi off. Have you tried with Wifi Off ? There is a pendibg fix fo that but not yet landed.

OnePlus 10 Nord on 24.04-1 (2026-01-17) - Could not fetch the MMS message. Maybe the MMS settings are incorrect or cellular data is off?

@bgriffis Hmm.. yeah, if WiFi being off didn't fix it, it's worth considering whether it's the two APN settings vs one setting thing. Plenty of folks have had it work one way but not the other - mostly I've heard of North Americans needing two separate settings. For me in the past, MMS only worked if I had two APN settings AND the APN & MMSC for MMS did not match the APN & MMSC used for Internet. I got around this by finding a "tethering" APN for my carrier and using that as the Internet setting, and the normal APN for my MMS. I still do get the same message as you, "Could not fetch...", for maybe 10 or 20% of incoming MMS messages, and clicking Download only yields a second (and third, and fourth..) such message. But if the I ask the sender to resend the same file, it generally does work the second time. I have never been able to figure out why this happens.

Nice to hear Ubuntu Touch worked well for her, that is a fun way to learn the basics. You might also set up a simple contacts shortcut or favorites list so she can call family faster.

I think he's saying he wants to forward SMS from his primary phone to his UT phone - Which I know you can do with VoIP providers, but don't know any cell carriers that will do that, with the exception of T-Mobile. They used to have a feature for that. Don't know if they do now.

@Vlad-Nirky Thanks - I'll mess around with that later. I do have a cron job rsynching keepass and gnucash files from my Ubuntu desktop to my Raspberry Pi. My Windows 11 laptop runs Ubuntu in WSL. I use rsynch to grab current keepass and gnucash files off the pi. I am rusty on setting up keys, so will need to reread some documentation. But that would solve keepass currency issues pretty quickly.
