@messayisto Thanks for letting me know! I agree with @MrT10001 that the app should be sufficient, but it is hard to justify launching the new site if it doesn't work on Ubuntu Touch

Hello all! The OpenStore server will be going down for maintenance April 18th around 2 UTC. I'll be upgrading the OS. As long as all goes well it shouldn't be down for very long.

@Schlicki2808 those apps that appear on the home page of the OpenStore are manually chosen which is why you might not see all apps that you would expect.

There currently isn't a way to share an app with multiple users. However, you can have a shared account or setup CI to automatically publish changes (for example, see my blog post).

Hello all! I just wanted to inform everyone that I am going to take down the OpenStore for maintenance on Sunday, May 28th around 23:30 UTC. I'll be upgrading the OS and using a new Ansible playbook for setup. It'll be switching to a new server, so if things go horribly wrong I can just switch dns back to the old server. I don't expect it to take very long, but Murphy's law could apply here .

Another year just ended and continuing last year's trend here are some fun stats from the OpenStore. Ubuntu Touch is still alive and growing!

Hi @dremonon , it sounds like you got the app uploaded & published successfully, congrats! To answer your question, the .click file is the packaging format (similar to an apk or a deb) and you are correct that the .click file is what you need to upload for your app to be on the OpenStore.

@007fred50 I'm fairly certain it's not an issue with the OpenStore. Can you send me the click you are attempting to upload? As an admin I can see about uploading it on your behalf.

@007fred50 It looks like the name of your app is LockAppStore.007fred50 (from this: https://github.com/007fred50/lockAppStore/blob/main/manifest.json.in#L2 ) and the app you are trying to upload to on the OpenStore is just lockappstore. You'll either need to change the name of the app in your manifest.json or create a new entry on the OpenStore under the correct name.

You can fix this on the server side by running: certbot renew --force-renewal --preferred-chain "ISRG Root X1" (ref). This is what I did to fix the OpenStore app being broken.

Otherwise I hear you can blacklist the certificate. Or just wait for the fix for Ubuntu touch to land in an OTA.
