Will focal upgrades improve bluetooth experience?

@redxxiii camera is ok when there is good lighting and no motion in the scene. Often this is not the case, as my son usually does not stand still:-)

@phoenixlandpirat podphoenix became unusable for me with ~ 5 podcasts as it was unresponsive while downloading podcasts for ~10 minutes and then my disk was full, had to delete the episodes and close podphoenix as it was still unresponsive.

I can relate to your situation, as I am having the same issues with my FP3+. Surely the largest pain is (in this order): Camera slow/unreliable, missing working podcast app, bluetooth connectivity.
Still I will not go back to google because of my concerns with their monopoly and data collection.
Personally, the experience of a free and private phone outweigh the mentioned disadvantages I have.
And considering this project is largely community driven, what a huge achievement. My utmost respect to all os and app developers and supporters to this amazing project.
I will hold out for future improvements.

Solved it by using Cinny. It also wants OICD login by redirecting to browser, but time it worked.

Maybe someone can help me with this issue: i got an element one account, to be able to bridge my whatsspp messages to my matrix account. I have FluffyChat, Pantslaimon and an account, sending messages to matrix contacts works. Server is main matrix server. When I want to connect to element one server, which id one.ems.host, then FluffyChat shows not the regular login, but some screen with OICD on it. When I click it, I get fowarded to the Element browser page. But when I login, nothing happens. Did anyone try successfully logging into element one server from FluffyChat?

With FP3 on Dev channel, do I have to remove waydroid before upgrade? Thanks

@lucy88 Hello, with my FP3 I have to switch on the screen and enter my PIN when the phone is connected to PC, afterwards the pc recognizes the UT system.

I dont know if I`m right here, but with the OS update from today, the phone gets hot and battery is depleted quickly.
This was not the case before this OTA.
My device is a FP3 on devel channel.

I have an issue with waydroid on FP3:
After using wadroid sometime I use the waydroid stop script, which was discussed here in the forum.
After using waydrois start, nothing happens.
Any ideas how to solve this?

@luksus hi, I now face the issue that the UI of ubuntu touch crashes when it connects to my device.

Tuens out, I did not do the pairing correctly on the headset.
Still, I have headphones and headset which don`t work with the phone, but another set which work. I have no idea why. My idea was therefore to try and change some bluetooth settings (which I now know is not possible) to fix the connection.

@dobey i thought that the type a given bluetooth device is recognizes as, determines the audio connection and possible settings. I have a headset recognized as headset (only audio playing works) and sony headphones recognized as Other, where nothing works.

Also, the forgotten device seems to appear for a split-second in the bluetooth devices list and then dissapears.

Also, a device, once forgotten, seems to be never discoverable anymore? Can I change that?

@keneda it`s probably an issue with my mail provider, which mixes social media, news, shopping wtc. In one web page, and the email web view is not desktop friendly. I found the option though to define an app passphrase, maybe woth this it will be more reliable in dekko2. Thanks

@domubpkm and others thanks for your advice. My mail provider seems to not allow persistent sessions, im always logged out when reloading the page after some time. So i`m not sure if a webapp will improve things for me...

I have a german web.de account and dekko never seems to fetch all the new emails from all folders. Can I have some wrong settings?
Does anyone know an alternative to dekko?

Is there any information what is being changed in dev channel builds? Like a log we can check somewhwre? Most of my bluetooth devices dont work with FP3 and I would like to know when some bluetooth related stuff is happening...
