@Lundrin17 the latest update hasn't fixed the issues for this device. When it came to updating the process failed? I got to the point where the device returned to the twrp screen, informing me that the update failed. Upon rebooting, it showed that it was up to date. (confusing, because, did it update or not?)
@Alter Yes, i still use my volla because i believe in the concept. And by using it as a daily driver, i hope to contribute whatever i can to the further development and spreading of these and other devices / software.
I'm EU based, and afaik on stable channels only. I haven't played around with that yet.
Wifi and BT work, but not always. Like i said, it's not reliable.
On the mobile side it's rock solid. No questions about that. I can go for weeks without wifi, no problem. Everything's fine on that side.
How do i file a bug report and where?

After using this device for some time now i can say this:
with flaws i mean the following: the wifi is a joke. Let's face it. Half of the time the device can't or won't connect to trusted wifi networks. A mobile connection works fine,, but that's beside the point.
Other point of interrest is this: it needs rebooting from time to time to keep working. sometimes it just stops working, or reboots on it's own.
Bluetooth can be dodgy. Either it will recognize a device and pair flawless, or it won't. Sometimes the connection just drops without warning or message. (Rather annoying).
So these are things that developers need to work on and you should take into consideration when buying a volla phone with ub touch.
I haven't tried the volla os yet.

I'm using a volla phone for some time now.
It has it's flaws, i'll give you that, but it's a fun device to use. If you want to use something else than android or Ios, this is a good alternative.
There aren't that many apps available, but that's a chicken and egg problem.
I'd say, go ahead and see what's what. I'm using the Ubuntu touch version.
After using podbird for quite a while now, i've noticed that i have around 6Gb worth of podcasts in the app.
I'd like to remove most of them, but i can't find the location where podbird stores them.
Does anybody know where they are stored in the filesystem? (Besides removing them in the app themselves)

I've noticed that my vollaphone, for most of the time, the wifi networks forgets it already has connected to.
Also, the transition from mobile to wifi, or vice versa, makes an app like, for instance podbird, to stop working.
Quite annoying and maybe something that will get fixed down the road?
@arubislander Hey @arubislander no problemo. If you could point out where or what i need to look out for in the log files, i' m good to go. I can then post the part that's needed.

Are there any other platforms available too, that you know of. I'm not all that of a fan of Telegram. But i'd like to communicate with other volla fans though.
Tested on Vollaphone:
Jabra Elite 45e in ear BT headset.
Calls work, listening to music/podcasts work, volume up/down works, pause doesn't. (that or i haven't found that yet).
Small update: it seems that, if you listen to music and there's a call coming in, after you hung up, the headset still "thinks" you're calling. I.e. the mic is working, the music keeps playing in the background, but doesn't come back to the front. For now, it seems that rebooting the phone does the trick. That or, stopping the (default) music player and start over again.

It seems that when podbird stops playing, other controls do work.
I almost always have network connectivity. (Either mobile of Wifi).
Today, it stopped responding again, so i cleared the cache. This time, this didn't help, so i wiped and installed again, and there it was again, like nothing ever happened.
Could it be that this was due to switching between mobile and wifi? There's this one spot in my house where wifi is dodgy, to say the least.

@arubislander It doesn't load or plays the selected podcast. It doesn't respond to taps. Now, clearing the cache like you said, solves that problem. So, whenever podbird 'hangs' i clear the cache and we're good to go.
First world problem that just arised: the artwork isn't displayed correctly. (but that's a very very minor problem imho)
@arubislander i've got around five or six podcasts in the player. I haven't tried clearing the cache, but will give it a go. I' ll report back. Thank you for the tip!

Removing and reinstalling the app did it. It's working again.

Today i noticed that podbird won't play any podcasts any more.
Everything else works, except playing.
I haven't noticed an available update or anything for the app.
Does anybody else have this problem?
