@DrPi Same thing happened to me. I fired up my Pixel 3a after being off for a long time. Running OTA-4. Checked for updates, found apps to update but not OTA-5. Following your suggestion, I switched from English to UK English. It then found OTA-5 immediately and is now updating.

RE: Contacts CardDav - automatic setup and sync through this script
@tonton_ Thank you for this work.
LINMOB says that there are improvements to CardDAV. I wonder if they are referring to your work here?

RE: Online videos not displaying
@DaveAlbiston FWIW, I just want ro report that video plays fine in Morph on my Pixel 3a running 20.04 dev channel.

RE: Development Planning 2023 ~ lets take over the world :)
@beta-break
The core app list includes calendar, but not contacts. The list described here includes Morph, which is not a core app, but does not include an email client, such as dekko.I realize that there's a lot of work planned here (like, VoLTE), but I think that contacts and an email client should be added. Also, the list of core apps should be re-evaluated?
Thank you!

RE: Contacts sorting
@arubislander
Strange, I can't find any info on what QtPIM is, let alone this migration. Even the source code repository lacks a document file. -
RE: Contacts sorting
@arubislander
Where can I read more about this migration? Will it make Nextcloud integration easier (giving address book sync)? Thanks. -
RE: Contacts sorting
@lduboeuf I agree, it would be confusing. It would be very strange.

RE: Shake for flashlight
@kugiigi Two of the Motorola phones I've had use serveral acceleration gestures. For the flashlight it is two hacking motions. Two wrist twists opens the camera.

RE: Pixel 3a randomly restarts....
@mrt10001 I'm running version 448. P3a. I haven't had a shutdown all day.

RE: Today is Q&A day live
@ubportsnews It is 17:00 UTC now, but the live show is ending instead of starting. What happened? I haven't seen an announcement that it would be at 16:00 UTC. Oh, well, I got on towards the end. Great to see some of the people I only read on Telegram. I missed most of the introductions, thought.

RE: Sapot browser
Import/export of HTML bookmarks would be a great improvement to Sapot and Morph. I haven't been able to find a way to convert HTML bookmarks into the tagging mechanism that these browsers use. Other browsers let me import the HTML and preserve the folder layout that I have for the bookmarks. I usually have to drag and drop into whatever the folder is for the bookmark toolbar for a particular browser, but that's about the only part that varies from browser to browser.

RE: Battery Life on Pixel 3a with UT 20.4
@arubislander on my P3a 20.04 the process crtc_commit takes up a constant 16-17% of CPU.

RE: Developer Documentation
I'm taking another run at learning to work on apps. Central to this is the developer documentation.
Right away, the first link is bad. @mimecar course goes to
https://docs.innerzaurus.com/
which doesn't work.I know that there's a Github site for the Gitbook, but I don't think a person getting started should have to learn about how to work with that in order to learn the programming part of it. At least, not at first.
I think I've found an HTML version of the course. I don't know if that is current. If it isn't, I think there should be a live version of the built Gitbook as HTML in docs.ubports.com.
I'm willing to work on the documentation to make small changes such as what might be helpful in this case. I've gone through the process once before, on the Pixel 3a documentation in Github.
I'd like the Developer Guides to be the one stop for everything I need to learn to make progress here.
Thank you.

RE: 20.04 Pixel 3A
@rondarius I think I was running 16.04 RC channel on my Pixel 3a. I did not see an option to upgrade to 20.04 in the System Settings Update Settings for channel selection. So, I ran the installer and selected the hidden channel for 20.04 dev channel in there. I selected wipe.
I would not call that a clean wipe, such as @Lakotaubp was having to do previously, reinstalling Android. On the other hand, I did wipe the OS from the installer.
I like this approach because I know exactly which apps work for 20.04. Namely, then ones that are installed by default. Also, the OpenStore only has apps which have been ported to 20.04. I'm not running 16.04 apps on 20.04.
Now that I'm running the latest 20.04 and the devs have released on RC, I see both RC (going back and forth between 16.04 and 20.04) choices.
Are you saying that in 16.04 you saw the RC channel for 20.04 and could select that AND all the apps you had installed are still there?

20.04 Calendar doesn't show Nextcloud events
I'm running 20.04 Version 396 on Pixel 3a.
I've configured Accounts System Settings for my Nextcloud server.
GhostCloud does show my files, so I know the server config is correct in Accounts.
Calendar shows up in the Nextcloud access list in the Accounts setting.
Events in my calendar on the server don't show up on my phone.
Birthdays show up on my phone calendar but I think that's coming from the contacts that I imported into Contacts by file.
I don't see any open issue for this in Issues at GitLab. Maybe I'm doing something wrong on my phone. It worked fine on 16.04.
Thank you for your time and help.

RE: 20.04 Pixel 3A
@rondarius I also was able to upgrade without trouble. I did it about 7 hours ago.

RE: 20.04 Pixel 3A
Install went well. I have a lot of trouble with the USB connection to my Ubuntu 22.10 laptop, but after that, the install was a success. I couldn't get a login to OPEN-CUTS working, so I hope it was reported correctly from the installer.

RE: 20.04 Pixel 3A
I don't see how to install 20.04. I'm running 16.04 on my Pixel 3a. I downloaded the latest installer from the usual place. The channel pulldown in the installer only has 16.04 choices. How do I get to the hidden choice for 20.04? Thanks!
EDIT: never mind. I see the Settings menu in the installer, to allow hidden channels.
