Found it. It's the Sapot browser - don't know why.
Every other app gives sufficient sound, including the Morph browser.

In case somebody arrives here with not changeable scaling issues, I want to add another solution:

If you have the file ~/.config/systemd/user/lomiri-full-greeter.service.d/override.conf, it may look like this:

[Service] ExecStartPre=/usr/bin/dbus-update-activation-environment --systemd GRID_UNIT_PX=21

It overrides the deviceinfo value of GRID_UNIT_PX.
You could remove the override or adjust it to your needs.

Ok, the fastboot -w command did definitely work for me... but who knows.
There is another command fastboot format:ext4 userdata which should also work, but I have had the impression, that the -w command made my device boot more reliable...

Perhaps "-w" does work only after formatting with ext4?

Anyway, nice that it is working now.
