Sorry to hear that you have (had) that much trouble. If the seller can swap the router that would be great. I'm on FritzBox! 7590 and everything works fine.

@Keneda ok, if next time it occurs, please provide logs.
I do have sometimes message that stay "grey" but it doesn't block all incoming and others message to be sent
