Also, remember that some apps don't need to have the app suspension disabled: Messaging apps that use Ubuntu Touch's notification system (E.G: TELEports).
To be honest TELEports doesn't work very reliable on my phone so I am not sure if it's a good example ?!
I miss more messages/notifications than I receive and the app beeing opened or closed doesn't seem to make a lot of difference...
Damaged battery:
Also, our phones have what I like to call "A lot of garbage" in the form of customized kernels, ROM ports, which might contributed to the damage the battery in the past if they we're configured incorrectly (E.G: Kernels that enable charging voltages that shouldn't be enabled on the phone, Kernels that overclocks the processor, graphic chip making the device use more power than usual, etc).*
Another factor that might decrease the battery health are fake chargers, unofficial chargers, etc
Sorry but that sounds like a bunch of nonsense...
The only thing I can agree upon are these two :
Kernels that enable charging voltages that shouldn't be enabled on the phone.
fake chargers.
The rest can be ignored! 🙂
