I think it's also using the arm64 rootfs, so there may be some additional hindrances from that, as Canonical never released a fully working 16.04 arm64 image on anything.

Sorry to hear of Marius' grandfather passing away. I would not expect him to be present tonight, but I pray he and others are comforted in their loss. Regarding Pinephone I wonder if there is any update on how it is performing / what (if any) blockers for full usability (camera / power consumption / mobile network / etc.) there are or how it is looking?

Godot needs to gain support for Wayland protocol, and we need to get the new Mir/Unity8 into the image. Once both of those are done, then Godot should be usable (though it may need another export template to build a click too).
