This one is one of the more helpful, and friendlier ones you'll find. And we have moderators who do not tolerate toxic behaviour. So don't worry about that here! I concur with @Moem. There are plenty of helpful folk here and a good community.

Hello, I too am using UBT 16.04 on my Nexus 7 flo. Although its eol, its still great for web browsing and minor development. In my case, it was easy installing UBT on my Nexus 7 but harder installing UBT 20.04 on my Pixel 3a. Installation definetely varies as the Nexus 7 stops at Android 7ish and my pixel came with Android 12. I had to downgrade to Android 9 to make it compatible with UBT and then I had to flash UBT like 3 times before it was a successful install. FWIW IMHO the Nexus 7 2013 models are good devices BUT with the lack of maintainers it makes it really hard to hang out on, considering the device support % score; you may want to move to a device that is not only UBT compatible but one that doesn't ship with anything past Android 9 because the downgrade process is tricky and risky if not careful.

@arubislander Thank you for the replies, arubislander. I recently got a Pixel 2XL with UT 16.04.07 on it, so i'm interested in this topic.

What exactly is the 'charge logo' ? is it the image of battery in the process of loading ? If yes, that's not managed by Ubuntu Touch as far as I know, it depends on the phone firmware. First thing to do is long press on the On/Off button (at least 10 s if not more) to try to get the phone out of this stuck state. If battery is removable, try to remove it and put it back after a minute or so.

@mrt10001 Thanks. E/OS is my back up plan for when UT no longer works on the Nexus 5.
