@alexander_schoch The only way to check if it's hardware-related is to revert back to android to see if the issue persists. If not, it should be reported as an issue on github. As for myself, I'm a bit tired of switching OS back and again, but I guess that's the only way ><

@richardg You can do it with the UBports installer. Or with TWRP if I'm correct (not really sure of this one )

@fish activate localisation, open the terminal, type test_gps and wait. Make sure the phone doesn't sleep, is close to an open window, that terminal is set to not interrupt with UT tweak tool, and is on the foreground. You should start seeing a bunch of gps coordinates within 40 minutes. If not, you indeed have an issue.

@emphrath Yeah this happens from time to time and has been happening for a long time. It's not too often though. In my observation, sometimes it's isolated in an app which can be fixed by restarting the app or sometimes by focusing a text field outside the app and going back again to the app. Sometimes it's an actual crash of the keyboard which restarts by trying to focus a text field like the search field in the app drawer.
