@smoore100 You may have to look at installing the minimum Android version requirement before going to UT. You can check with the Volla guys which one is required before upgrading to UT. Cheers.

Hello friends. I hope you can help me, please. I just received my Volla Tablet's keyboard and stylus accessories. Unfortunately... I'm not sure what I'm missing here but I can't get either to work. The pins are in full contact with the keyboard as far as I can estimate but no touchpad or key input is working. From what I see online the pins are meant to draw power from the tablet itself to power the keyboard, with no bluetooth connectivity or charging intended. Regardless I put a USB-C cable inside to "charge" and as you might expect that didn't seem to induce charging but rather it makes the keyboard backlights flicker slightly a few times on each connection. I believe the USB-C port is for external accessories but, again, if the pins aren't performing their intended function for whatever reason I doubt the port will function either. I can't reasonably infer that the tablet's own "female" pins would have worn out in the several months I've owned the tablet, given they have been recessed and protected by the original case which I received along with the tablet. What I can positively say so far is that it is working well as a stand in landscape orientation, and as a protective slip cover when folded up like a laptop. I charged the stylus (speaking politely, it would be a positive feature to include a small printed guide with it, or a video on the product page) to the point where the light turns green and switches on and off. The product description page states that it doesn't leverage bluetooth either, instead using an electromagnetic field. It doesn't give any signs of response when used on the touchscreen, unlike my fingers. Not with the tablet nor indeed for any other mobile device with a touchscreen (hmm perhaps with a Nintendo DS/2DS/3DS but any old non-battery powered stylus would work on that family of consoles regardless). I don't even know if it's on or off beyond the light remaining on and green and nor do I know how one would power it off (surely it's not intended to simply be constantly powered on until the battery drains 100% and then for it to be recharged?). Naturally I am testing both of these devices on Ubuntu Touch and don't dual boot VollaOS to see how they'd function in that environment. Can anyone please help diagnose these issues with their experiences? Video coverage would be most appreciated but text is great too. I guess I'd better check the compensatory (as in a freebie as these products were delayed) bluetooth headset too...

Hello forum, I've been on 24.04-01 for a week and haven't had any crazy Volla yet. Maybe we got rid of that with the upgrade? Would be desirable. However, I've only had it rarely recently, even with 20.04. Greetings Charly

Hello forum, So I have the impression that volte cannot yet be used reliably on my phone. I have therefore disabled it and am waiting for further progress. What is still unclear to me is what the situation is with VoWLAN or VoWIFI? Many greetings Charly

@XPran You need to turn off the phone, and then boot with long push on "power" and "volume up" buttons at the same time, until you see a "Recovery Menu", then select the first option "Boot recovery", then connect it in USB to your computer and the installer should work fine. Select Ubuntu Touch 24.04, and sit back & relax while the installer is doing its job.

@Nicolai-Ek they are related. Waydroid changed the permissions of folders it has access to. Making it so that the phablet user can no longer access the folder.
