I have experienced issues on my Quintus: The bluetooth gui does not see my headsets when searching for devices. But I can directly pair them using bluetoothctl and their hardware identifier. After having done this, they seem to stay saved in the list of paired devices, since they auto connect from then on. Yet, the quintus does never show the headsets in the GUI (one are Volla buds, the other is no name). The Pinetime in contrary works without issues and is always visible in the list. I can't remember having these issues before which makes me think that is connected to Noble. My phone is running UT natively, no dual boot. Maybe this can be added to observations made on Noble that might be addresed at some point.

@Lalle75 said: Hi. I got my Volla now for some hours. I'm working with Linux (Debian and Ubuntu) for >10 years now, but I cannot achieve anything on this system. Hello Lalle, I think the answers provided by UT FAQ 8 (https://t.me/UTFAQ/10) may be useful for you: "8. Can I use apt on Ubuntu Touch? yesn't [yes and no]. Ubuntu Touch is built with privacy, reliability and stability accross a wide range of devices in mind. It is crucial that the developers are able to quickly reproduce and fix bugs across devices to ensure no faulty update ever makes it to the stable channel on any device, ever. To achieve this the rootfs is read-only. This allows UBports to provide image based updates. When you run an OTA update it replaces the read-only part of the operating system. Userdata is not a part of that, so you don't lose that or installed apps. But apt is not designed for a read-only rootfs, so as a result it will attempt to write to the read-only portion of the operating system. While you can remount your rootfs as read-write, because apt is writing into a normally read-only part of the system, an OTA update can partially overwrite the changes apt made. This can result in a broken system. So using apt essentially means you are running your own fork of Ubuntu Touch. You can install apps from the OpenStore app. How to get updates is described in our usage channel. there are other package managers that are made to work with a readonly rootfs, current working examples include snap and crackle (https://github.com/tuxecure/crackle)."

Volla Phone X23 (Gigaset GX4 PRO) I wonder if anyone can help me. I understand that later versions of UBports installer such as 0.10.0 and 0.11.2 have had problems such as: Volla not flashing to slot A: "Unknown Error while flashing Volla OS to Volla Phone X23 #4385" I know developers on Github have provided a configuration file to fix this but I would not know how to apply this file to the latest installer. The phone is now running Android 14, it came updated.. Which version of the Ubports Installer should I use in order to get Volla 14 installed successfully? I have never flashed a ROM unto a phone before. My laptop is running LMDE 6 so it would be done using a Linux system. I would appreciate any advice.

@XPran Great! Although note that I see you have selected "24.04-1.x daily" which is a development version, it's more recommended to install "24.04-1.x stable". It's a known issue that the installer proposes you the first option. Enjoy Ps: If you're still looking for a whatsapp solution, you can try my app "Whatsnew" from the openstore.

Hey y'all I need detailed information on what works / doesn't work on the VP X running UT 24.04 to update the listing on devices.ubuntu-touch.io. Please go through the list of features at devices.ubuntu-touch.io/device/yggdrasilx and check if all the feature listings are correct and which of those have since been changed so I can create a listing for noble based on that. Also please report on how volte is working out for you guys. Peace xcx
