Hello!
Many apps no longer run for me (I realize that the app programmers fix this). Dekko2 starts, but does not display the individual messages as soon as you click on them. SMS starts, but and I get messages, but as soon as I open them from the notification bar, they are gone. The history is not displayed either. I can send messages - they also reach my “test partners”, but they are no longer displayed in my history. If a recipient hadn't told me that they had received messages from me, I wouldn't know, because after “sending” they have disappeared “without a trace”. I still have the problem that only “2G” is possible on my Volla 22 after every restart. I first have to go to the settings and randomly enter the password for the APN. Once this is done, I get LTE. Bluetooth headset no longer works for me - even with old paired devices. Neither my already paired car radio nor my headphones want to connect to my Volla 22. The same applies to my Volla tablet. It's quite liberating when you can't use normally “restricted” devices at all, except for rudimentary browsing and phone calls. Unfortunately I am not a programmer, otherwise I would be happy to support you. So it only works monitarily. Best regards

Hi, The update downloads, but nothing happens when I tap Install > Restart & Install. I'm running 20.04 OTA-10 RC1 on a FP4

@Robipo sometimes it is doing things in the background. I have had the same 'problem' before where I think nothing is happening, I start doing something else and then have the phone reboot while Im doing something else.

Hello,
i upgraded my jingpad to 24.04. did a fresh install from the installer.
the installation went fine.
i have problems with browsers.- morph displays some web sites with white letters on white ground.. did some trys settings and also tryed some settings in tweaktool.. nothing helps there
- mimi browser did not start.. crashes direct on start
- uwolf did not start....

Update went smooth, following the instructions.
Under Cellular settings 5G is still missing. Nonetheless, it seems there's no internet data at all despite status showing good signal. The browser keeps saying no internet connection. I've tested LTE coverage with other phone, just to exclude the possibility that my operator turned off LTE completely.
I've created WiFi Hotspot but connection to it fails from any device I've tried.

@rund_europa Have you tried to reinstall all apps (Settings->updates->update settings->reinstall all apps? ( I have not tested e.g. Dekko2 on my updated Volla 22. So I do not know if this working. Keep you updated.

With my Volla Phone 22 with Ubuntu Touch 24. 04-1.0 Beta I without Dekko in use, but with Telegram I have a standby-time when doing no phone calls of 3 days. On Volla 22 I also do not get any E-Mail notifications for Dekko2, but for Telegramm, phone calls and SMS.

@mjosenhans the phone says, that all apps are up to date, so nothing happens, on download or anything else. It's the same on volla tablet.

@rund_europa I have had a similar sounding SMS problems on a couple occasions after importing my message history when changing phones (copying history.sqlite, and attachments, and pasting into same folder on new phone.)
History sometimes would load, sometimes wouldn't. Messages sometimes refused to send. Seemed to depend how I'd entered a message window - by clicking from Notifications, clicking on a message in the Messages main window, or starting new message and entering recipient.
Sometimes it would enter a message window to a contact where the telephone icon was not at top right, and usually that wouldn't load history.It seemed to fix itself over time. But would persist with certain contacts.
Anyway, hopefully it just keeps working for you. I just mention in case it's related. Maybe a bug that predates Noble more to do with the system picking up SMS history?

UT 24.04 issue, but an uWolf issue. The author of uWolk is already looking into it.

@peat_psuwit maybe it should be mentioned somewhere, that there is a backup-job running, the first time, when "migrating" into 24.04.
- It's a nice feature
- It may slow down the UI on older devices (e.g. FP3, not sure how it feels on more performant devices) while running.
- When switching between 20.04 and 24.04 back and forth (for testing), you may run into storage-issues, because every first time 24.04 is booted, it creates a new backup.

I installed 24.04 on a Volla Phone 22 which had a clean install of 20.04. The installation of 24.04 went smoothly.
I tried to install Waydroid with Gapps, and you get into the Waydroid session, it starts complaining that it is not certified for Google services. This hasn't happened to me with any of the Waydroid with Gaps installations I tried in 20.04. It looks like a Waydroid issue though, not sure if it is related to the fact that Waydorid is now running in 24.04.

Should Wayland apps be working? They're not on my OnePlus5t.
