@Aurze Hi,
I made the client for domoticz, I chose it after some tests and it fit my needs.
About the protocol, I use ZWave, not open sourced, but there are opensource controllers.
I chose ZWave because of the wide ecosystem of sensors and actors and because I needed a wireless meshed network.
I like Fibaro's design and products in general but I tried several brands for light bulbs.
Regarding the price tag, in Europe you can find various ZWave sensors around 30€ (seems to be the minimum price so it should cover the ZWave licence)

I'm interested in your findings as I would like to have a more open domotic universe at home.
If you use domoticz, I would love some feedback to improve the UX.
(I'm working on adding local caching and customization but it's not ready yet)

All those issues were introduced in the Unity8/mir but most of them are being worked on if not already fixed 🙂
The keyboard showing in the external display has been closed just today I think.

So for now, you have to restart unity8/reboot after plugging in the external display for it work. Scaling is fine in the right side of the screen but if you want, you can set system scaling to 8 (1080p monitor) so that everything looks fine.

You want to use already existing accounts in your app? Or you want to provide a new account type in your app's package, which other apps could use?

@dobey That does make sense and thanks to put it that way, but I was trying something. That I finally got really close but turn out docker on UT is not happening anytime soon.

Your Linux kernel version 3.4.0-cyanogenmod-g2669fa0 is not supported for running docker. Please upgrade your kernel to 3.10.0 or newer.
