Can confirm that this is happening with my Pixel 3a as well. I dont use this as a daily driver and usually just have it on with WIFI enabled and location off. I have seen it reboot as well by itself. Biggest indicator of the reboot is that all apps are closed / location re-enabled.

Correct - OpenStore loads, just not many apps due to being on Focal. Hard decision but staying on Focal for now since its the future, but just waiting on more apps to come through. Im patience though.

Ive noticed that when i launch the clock App, if i chose not to use location, it crashes and cant open it at all after that. Havent tried selecting location to see what happens
Excited to see where this goes. UT was working very stable over on 16.04 and couldnt wait to see what happens on 20.04.
Three things i need for daily driver usage
Just to add to this, I went through the same process of trying multiple Pixel 3a XL phones before finding the correct one. Tried twice on Ebay and then eventually bought another one from Swappa. At least on Swappa, they categorize them as "unlocked". Received the phone and everything works.
Luckily was able to return both Ebay phones, just annoying to go through the process. Avoid Verizon branded Pixel's at all cost.

There is no mention about Lenovo M10 tablet being updated per the article but its being announced as updated to OTA-24 per the devices page? Just wanted to double check / clarify?

Thats a shame - wish this device would get official support. From going through couple different cellphone models, and now couple tablets, the x606F has been the smoothest, best performance of UT that i have experienced.
Not sure where to put this, but here are the steps that I took to get Ubuntu Touch on the 606f

Using LMSA, i was able to downgrade to Android 9 by downloading the newest update for the 606f (Android 10) and replacing the files with the Android 9 Roms files within the directory and perform an "rescue" on the tablet. Once booted, Android 9 was installed.
Once Android 9 was installed, the usual procedure took place. Enable Developer Mode, unlock the bootloader reboot into Fastboot and flash the required files within the Artifacts folder.
OEM Unlock command : fastboot flashing unlock
I coudlnt get the SP Flash program to work correctly both in Windows and Linux and was surprised about the downgrade with LMSA.
Would it be possible to have tablet specific images for WIFI only tablets? Doesnt make sense that when i installed UT on my Lenovo x605f, that Phone related apps were installed as well (Dialer, contacts, etc).

Hmmm. Ive been enjoying the 605f so far but its a just tad slow and just thought the additional 1GB of ram would help. Especially going from DDR3 to DDR4, which i want to say is in the 606f.
Going over the issues, is it true that WIFI doesnt work on it?

Or is this only affecting the 606x models? I really dont like how they did the naming convention on these devices.
Is there a reason why maintaining this has been stagnant? Is there any word on officially supporting it?

Although not officially supported, Its tempting to get one of these x606f tablets to try it out. As I currently have a 605f tablet, would there be much performance advantages getting the 606f (4GB version)?
EDIT : Also would the 606f support waydroid?

Is there really no reliable Email Application for UT? Dekko used to work for both my Gmail email account and another one but as of lately i havent been able to send / receive or even set them up within Dekko?
I see that there are webapps for Gmail and other providers but im looking for more of a client, like Thunderbird or K-9 mail?

Just received my Lenovo M10 x605f and been enjoying Ubuntu Touch on it! Its been a long journey (pinephone, OnePlus1, OnePlus6, Pinetab) but i think i have finally found my UT device.
Main question that I wanted to ask is - is there a Bluetooth Keyboard (with trackpad) and case that is similar to the PineTab keyboard + case that would work with this tablet. I searched a bit and there are some, but mainly for the x606 tablets.
I see that there are pins at the bottom of this tablet, but i want to say its for the sound/audio dock that is available. There are keyboard cases out there but im looking for one that also has the trackpad. There are generic ones but i would like to have one that "locks" the tablet in place rather than straps or notches that hold the tablet in place.
Does anyone have any idea if there is one out there for this tablet?

Knowing that MMS is a touchy subject, wanted to reach out to the community to see if anyone has any previously experienced or tips and tricks to get this working -
Previously I had MMS working on the OnePlus One but since then I have upgraded to the Oneplus 6. Loving it so far, as the performance is greatly improved, and with Waydroid working, i have been impressed.
Mint mobile is automatically detected and selected from within the APN settings. I have tried to set up two separate APN's, one for Internet and one for MMS. Both of them take the information but trying to send myself an image fails. I have tried to either update the existing APN's to have both internet and MMS included but it never updates / changes.
I have tried all 3 update channels (Stable, RC and dev) to no luck.

Im had a similar experience as well. Coming from a OnePlus One to a Oneplus Six that I received yesterday. T-Mobile Version. Messed around with it for most of the day, I was able to learn how to take it from the Tmobile version to the "International" version stock Android 9.0.11 version. From there I was able to push Ubuntu Touch on it this morning.
Switched over to dev channel (sad there is no Helium dev channel? ) and Updated to Version 511 under Dev channel. Rebooted and got stuck on the unlocked bootloader message screen. Rebooted couple times and same message - no boot into Ubuntu Touch
Just rebooted into Recovery, and the 3 spinning Ubuntu circles come up (believe it was installing the update), phone automatically rebooted, unlock bootloader message came up and then booted fine into Ubuntu Touch.
Checked and verified that Update 511 was installed.

Recently I purchased an used Oneplus One phone and installed Ubuntu Touch on it and over the last couple months I have been really enjoying the experience that I have had with both the phone and Ubuntu Touch.
Continuing on, I have noticed that the OnePlus 6 is more or less well supported by Ubuntu Touch and was wondering if upgrading from the OnePlus One to the Six is worth it. Has anyone done this in the past? Is the performance gain there to justify ~$150 USD? Not sure, but is the OnePlus 6 capable of Waydroid?
