      @arubislander

Wherever there is privacy, security has been implemented. I think Privacy is a subordinate element and a byproduct of Security.

It's hard for me to understand some of your last explanation. Nevertheless, I have no hard thoughts, so let's just leave it at that.

@kugiigi You have the right to say that. Doesn't make it compatible with my beliefs. I think we're on the same side though.

@arubislander I'll tell you the allegations link, but please.. can you first tell me what's the difference or similarity between Security and Privacy ? Maybe we come from different worlds !

And, are you saying that the marketing people don't matter ? or are you saying they are ignorant ? or maybe something else ?

      Hmmm..

@lakotaubp The review needs modifications, I have anxiety disorder, so yes I shouldn't have given it 5, just a rough morning so excuse me. I thought this was a funded project. From a volunteer standpoint, It deserves much more. I will try to elaborate on WayDroid as well.

      Thank you.

    • Ushby have released an official Review on UT.

      Hello,

Analysis proves but also destroys beliefs, it never gives opinions. We used that to give a review on UT. One that is interesting to say the least.

Don't look at it as a bad thing, we have freedom of speech today. And development sparks from criticism.

    • RE: Is it possible to run Revolut on Ubuntu Touch?

@mihael Don't even bother. The app has very high security and can recognize any unofficial container. Only hope is Android Studio since it runs on a recognized Kernel environment.

    • RE: Is it possible to run Revolut on Ubuntu Touch?

@opolork Revolut don't depend on their web version to authenticate, manage account or basically do anything other than view some info, that makes it hard for any developer to make an app for it. Having such an APP can only be made by the company itself, which for Ubuntu Touch case seems not possible right now. Hopefully in the future.

However and I wish the Forum could excuse me for bringing an out of topic solution.. But, Android Studio can do that for you, if you don't have an actual phone. This way you can still enjoy your UT.

@lakotaubp I tried that, no luck. I will try to continue attempting and maybe figure the reason out. Thank you.

    • Is it possible to install nmap and dmitry ? [20.04]

      Re: Nmap on Ubuntu Touch

      • When I try using Libertine.. it stays downloading, extracting and unpacking package for a long time, and then nothing happens.

      • Using the terminal's libertine-container-manager.. it says
"failed to run command '/usr/bin/apt-get/: No such file or directory"
When I continue to attempt, it starts saying that nmap or dmitry is already installed

      Hopes or no hopes ?

    • RE: Move from Telegram to Signal?

There is no difference in terms of security, very similar technology. The rest of security concerns depends on your relationship to these providers and your place of residence.

If you want to secure your messages, add VPN config.

    • What type of forum script is this ?

The UBports forum looks like a single page application, it's so fast and nice. Is it an open source script that's available out there or is an exclusive one ?

    • Is it possible to have users just like Ubuntu OS ?

It would be great to have different users so that one can containerize applications and data used.
