WAKE UP!!!

A couple of things that really bother me :

• When I want to EDIT my post it's immediately flagged as SPAM ?! WTF ?!
• When I open a couple of Tabs at the same time some kind of poorly configured Anti-DDoS system kicks in and I have to refresh the Tab to actually see the Topic ?!
• The general layout of text in the posts is not the most pleasing to look at!
  Especially when you quote multiple people in one post ?!

Can any of these things be fixed at some point ??

Why do you want to get something as horrible as Electron and Chromium running in/under/on Ubuntu Touch ?!

Please, please, PLEASE stick to Native and Google FREE apps (or even better : Native Applications) if you are considering developing something for Ubuntu Touch

How so? I have never used it... well, not by choice anyway. If my phone switches on when I'm charging it, that is fine.

Really !!

It's basic functionality in case you run out of battery at some point!

How it should work :

• Phoned turned itself off.
• You plug in the adapter.
• Phone boots to Offline Charging Mode
• You see some kind of indicator that it's charging. Usually a large battery and sometimes a cable attached to it.
• The screen turns off after 15 or 30 seconds or so and the phone keeps charging untill it's full.
• During this period the Notification LED can sometimes light up as Red/Orange/Green depending on the status of the charging process.

THAT's HOW ALL PHONES WORK!!!
So we need it to work. No discussion possible!

I hope I am wrong or misunderstood you!

I don't care a damn about the climate talk over the last years so that will NEVER be the reason that I use my hardware as long as possible!

My reasons to use products as long as possible are :

• I usually buy stuff that I really like!
  For example my ZUK Z2 Pro is now 5 years old and I would love to keep it using for many years to come, because it's still more than fast enough and overall a nice phone to use!
• I don't like selling or throwing away stuff that still works just fine for me!
• When I consider to buy something I always make sure it won't be outdated or not good enough for me very fast.
  For example : My PC is now 9 years old and the only huge change was a new GPU in 2017 and I hope it will keep working for many years to come!

Soo...

If someone would ask me : "Would you like to buy a phone that will keep working for 10 years ?"
Then my answer would be : "HELL YEAH!!!"

Fun Fact : I have a stereo that's about 25 years old now and still works!

On the other hand...

I have now been using the Development branch for about a month and have not experienced any issues so far!

So if you want frequent updates I suggest you try the same!

Doing stuff for free should not be an issue for people who like this project, but getting the right information about certain things from the developers does seem to be an issue!

I have already asked multiple times if we can get a list of phones that won't be supported by the 20.04 LTS upgrade and so far no one seems to be interested in giving us such a list ?!

Because IF we had one, then I could for example edit all the details of all the phones listed @ https://devices.ubports.io and add some kind of banner of something to warn people about the future upgrade path for those phones!

Another thing that really bothers me are this kind of comments :
