@pparent I don't know if you'll risk it, I can't give you any warranty as it's not tested by me, but you could try to download the config file, edit it to set a bigger value for system_a: - fastboot:resize_logical_partition: partition: "system_a" size: 3221225472 and launch the installer with the -f option on the modified file. If you need hand holding, you could find more experienced people than me on this forum or on Telegram. edit: I forgot to say that you'll probably need to set a value in 4K blocks and multiply it by 4096.

@linl Yeah, I did the same thing. Started with the chat support and they mentioned they could help me but would need get back to me via email. Did some emails back and forth and they asked for all the same stuff (even though I provided it in the initial chat) and after a week of back and forth they came out and said they couldn't help me. =(

Thanks, I already have the tools, since the phone no longer boots and I can no longer tap or type in this startup image. I can only connect once and to PC. Now I have to download Oxygen 10.... (as requested) and put it on my phone (slide it)! That's my concern 1. Android version, 2. How to get it on my phone. Well, first of all, thank you and it will be fine... over time!

@UT-downunder Windows, yes. Linux users have gotten it to work either using a VM (requires a VM with USB port pass through. Some work, some don't), or by installing Windows to Go on a USB drive. Alternatively, there is a way to do it in linux somewhere in the ubPorts OP6 forum, but I haven't used it in years (I use Windows To Go on a USB SSD-Transend thumb drive SSD). Or just borrow someone's machine for a few.

OnePlus phones are very hard to brick. They can be recovered using the msmDownloadtool usually included with the image on the UT device's webpage. If it isn't, xda-developers has them, for every OnePlus model.

@gpatel-fr You are correct. "How to enable developer mode" states enable USB debugging (<- me bad - didn't see correctly), ADB, or Android D... Bridge". Sheng-Cheih P.s. i'll try again after shower nap - so sleepy now.

@oldbutndy said: @Leroy_Linux Running 24.04.1n (daily - but randomly doing the updates), MVNO USMobile > T-Mobile Good to know. I'm running 24.04-1.2 stable and T-Mobile. I misread your post. Somehow I interpreted the phone wasn't working well, but you clearly stated that it's just not a daily driver unless WiFi calling or native VOIP. (neither of which I've used... my requirements are just for the working phone which it has done well thus far). Thanks and sorry for my confusion. Hope you find a way to meet your requirements!

@lduboeuf First there was the alert-message (I don't know which message-id was used right now) and after 30 minutes there was there clear-message for this alert which says, that the alert is over. I only received the second message (clear) but not the first one (alert). Is there an option to get the subscribed message-ids? The above mentioned test-cbs-script doesn't work for me.

@chaosmaou T-Mobile works well for me. I tried Ting first, but had issues. I didn't bother to troubleshoot knowing from others that T-Mobile worked. So, I just switched and happy with the results. Good luck!

@Er.Pe Probably the solved problem isn't really solved. To be honest, I am not sure, if texts now are coming in without any failure. There seem to be still messages sent, but not shown on my device. Although I am not able to quantify the amount, because I receive text messages (SMS) not every day. I will give notice, if I should get to know more details.

I think he's saying he wants to forward SMS from his primary phone to his UT phone - Which I know you can do with VoIP providers, but don't know any cell carriers that will do that, with the exception of T-Mobile. They used to have a feature for that. Don't know if they do now.

@barry00 You can, but the problem with the T-Mobile or Verizon variant from North America is unlocking the bootloader. For some stupid reason on our part, you need to get a token from OnePlus to unlock the bootloader, which you don't have to at the moment in the rest of the world.
