@bearbobs sorry for the late reply its been busy with work...did you have to host the emulationstation?....because not sure how to host from within a clickable.....Iv seen the project before but have not really done anything with it....if it runs totally client side its do able....but if it needs hosting I don't think it can be done....the nes I'm working on is a heavily modded JavaScript emulator runs totally client side i added touch support fixed up the audio and added a lot of mapper support.....one big issue is the webview out of the box is....well lacking...if you load mario you will see black squares around the clouds and other sprites...not the emulator but the webview....

@Moem said in How to sign up to telegram on ut?: Wow, that's suboptimal. It used to be, you only needed a phone that could receive an SMS to verify your phone number. I guess those days are over. I tried that several times at first, but it never worked. I also contacted support, but they never responded. On the bright side, the process isn't too bad: Insert your SIM card into any Android or iOS phone that has the Telegram app installed If someone else is already logged in on the phone, log them out Create and verify your account on the phone While still logged in on the phone, initiate login process on any Telegram desktop app Use logged in account on phone to verify login attempt from desktop app (QR code, verification code via Telegram message) Log out on the phone, remove your SIM card, put other person's SIM card back in, etc. Done. As long as you always have at least one active, valid session on any device, you can use it to verify other devices and never need the phone again.

@nostromov Since Ubuntu Touch does not use any form of assisted GPS at the moment, first lock can take up to 15 minutes and requires an instructed view of the sky for the initial fix. After that it should be much quicker. And also operable indoors, until the caches satรฉlite positions are no longer accurate (after a reboot or longer period (think days / weeks, not hours) of not using GPS.

@Darkice I had the same issue with the music app. Default apps get hidden when uninstalling them and don't get properly unhidden upon reinstallation: https://forums.ubports.com/topic/8851/can-t-re-install-the-music-app/

@arubislander Good to know that my fears weren't too foolish... @Lakotaubp Nothing I needed to keep. I ran the installer with wipe and am back on Stable as expected. (Got a certificate error trying to provide feedback, something about host aliases?) I am curious how repeatable the glitch might be, but would rather stay on Stable for the daily driver and not take the risk of getting stuck on something else.

@developerbayman so, the 'not working' is that it rejects your password? You probably mistyped it. I have that all the time, especially on the on-screen keyboard.

@Chan1234 said in Libertine Questions: is Libertine same as Lxc? No, libertine uses one of several possible containerization technologies. On xenial it uses proot containers. On focal I have read it uses bubblewrap. It could also use lxd, but that integration is currently broken on UT. can i modify libertine to access my wifi dongle? Probably not. You should configure access outside of the container, on the host. The container just uses whatever connection the host provides.

@Chan1234 said in My personal Questions on Ubuntu Touch.: In Libertine on ubuntu touch the desktop apps can be installed but my first question is. If i install non GUI app like wifite or htop, netdiscover on libertine It will work? or not? command line tools will work well from within a Libertine container. Services and daemons will not. Neither will tools that require very low level access to the system.
