Browsers?

Anyway, it currently lacks an essential password manager regardless of the browser.
That is a big missing.
I've fixed the crashes on devices like MX4 in the last update and it was actually a huge update.
Glad to ear that ^^
I had have installed the "pre-crash" version waiting for an update -
@keneda Unfortunately, that's something I personally don't use in any browser so there's not much of a chance I'd do it myself. And it's probably a big and complicated task so I'll leave it to more skilled develeopers

@kugiigi
Anyway that's in Morph that this usefull feature should be implemented. -
@applee I apologize for the short post, it might indeed come across as rude to someone quite easily.
The thing is, the Internet is quite important, and since UB doesn't have Android apps (Waydroid is really messy right now with the way it integrates to Unity) I at least need a functional web browser. The 2 days I had the browser I encountered at least 5 websites that didn't work properly, and that's a lot for just 2 days. This isn't really criticism, just my feedback, and me just looking if there is a better way.
@Emphrath Which one do you use? Firefox doesn't work, and Opera Mini has issues. On top of that, Waydroid is a bit trippy. For example, all open applications look the same in Unity's window manager thing. And if you close one, sometimes all of them close. It's rough, so not sure I can depend on it either way.
Also, Waydroid seems to be draining my battery quite fast.

@yk102
No problem, I was just ranting a bit because I can feel sometimes the heart of some dev breaking
It wasn't personal and I understand your trouble.
We all share this burden.Thanks for your understanding.

@applee Well, QtWebengine is a horrible and very unfourtunate choice for such a project (that promotes, as stated on ubports homepage, citing: "We are building a secure & private operating system for your smartphone."). Given the fact that all here knows very well why the same base of the engine is used by all major IT companies that is heavily oriented to profit and their profit comes from your data, I am really surprised, what exactly this engine does in UBports in the first place, let alone that you can't disable webrtc. It's kinda does not match at all with the welcome statement on front page.

Your fact is, in fact, not a fact.
But since you seem to know a lot... maybe you can build a better browser for UT? -
yan can't disable WebRtc.
Exact. A known problem which means sites using webrtc can see our real ip address even through a vpn if i'm not mistaken.

@yk102 I use "Browser" the default android browser
