Alfred mentioned 2 ways to solve the problem, but I remember only the one involving rebasing the port on halium 11.

What I remember also is that Alfred needs help to (at least) test things out because his device is not authorized by his service provider to use VoLTE.

So I take this opportunity to ask for your help.
If you have skills to help port to halium 11 that would be great.

It seems Alfred may be rebasing the port more on Halium 12 than Halium 11 :

@cibersheep Well I suppose this will need to be a one step at a time kind of thing. Once a half decent guide for one language is set up then surely it shouldn't be too much trouble for people to translate it later.

@moncon - No worries! Thank you so much for the detailed and encouraging response. I just ordered a CC for Christmas and will surely install Debian and UT now with your recommendation. By the way, I was running UBports UT on my Pixel 3a XL and digging it until the cell network modem died (FYI: The modem hardware had issues before UBports UT install). Anyway, hope my CC wasn't manufactured and assembled on a Friday 😉 Thanks again. Cheers!

@dobey Thanks Dobey, now I understand why I cannot do it.

I published a first release of my app without this feature and after giving it more thoughts I'm not sure it would have been useful.
I appreciate the answer!
