Thank you for the info. I managed to build the stable version of miatoll port today . And from tomorrow I will start working on focal. I will try droidian too since I am also interested more in having closer desktop feeling on my phone , but I also want to try to maintain miatoll for UT too. I believe with focal and libertine containers we can have good desktop feeling on UT too
@developerbayman so, the 'not working' is that it rejects your password?
You probably mistyped it. I have that all the time, especially on the on-screen keyboard.
@developerbayman May I know which ROM did you use in the end?. I download the latest android 10 rom at the website suggested by ubport and flash it prior to ut installation. Now with SensorsStatus it seems only GPS works. Rotation doesn't work. One of my sim card also doesn't work.
@kugiigi thanks it slipped my mind i knew it used QT i was just having a moment lol yeah in my experience with things like that it should be updatable cause it should bring all the old api and then some new ones however my experience with QT is quite limited now i wonder?
@developerbayman I hear you. I tried to register with four different clients, including the Ubuntu Snap and the Telegram webapp. All claimed to be sending a code to my 'other devices' or by SMS. Only way I actually got anywhere was to install the official Android SDK APK (from the Telegram website) to an actual Android device. (Going through the Google Play Store would probably have worked, but I would draw the line before that!) After registering with the official Android app, all the other clients authenticate no problems.
@cliffcoggin Because of this thread and your idea, I spent days on this 😆 Kinda neat and definitely a quick way to turn on the torch.
