@Moem
Well, yes, as futur Ubuntu versions will need, like 20.04, minimum Linux kernel versions.
So Android Linux kernels to be updated is important for futur support under... 30.04 maybe one day ? š
For helping long term support to the consumers, Fairphone chose the SOC for the FP5 in an industrial catalog BTW, so that there is long term support from vendor Qualcomm, and so that they don't need to work very hard like they did for android 10 on FP2.
@Rita-G It theoretically will work on all providers..... However it doesn't support VoLTE (Voice over Long term evolution) (yet) which some networks use. In the UK it works on O2, EE, 3 and Vodaphone (plus others that piggy back off these networks).
It is also dependent on the device as well, i.e some devices are 2G and 3G only which may cause an issue with network providers removing 3g service.
@Rondarius You are right, I am not very busy at the forum. š But if you ping me, I will get an email.
Regarding the patreon merchandise, I managed to find out that the shop is currently undergoing some internal changes and handing over duties. I am not involved myself, but I kindly ask you to be patient. Your case is known now and hopefully can get sorted soon.
Thank you so much for replying! I'll wait patiently! š
@jezek It's included in the LomiriPlus package. You'll have to create the package yourself. There's instructions in the repo. It's actually pretty simple.
@zozo23 You can browse the app catalogue here: https://open-store.io
Additionally, UT allows you to install desktop apps through Libertine and Android apps through the Waydroid container, however that's a bit more involved and some things might not work.
