@thousandtopics currently, we have linphone working but not user friendly to set up. The goal is to get sip in the dialer so it's all transparent to you, except you would have to subscribe to a VoIP provider. I have a list of cheap, good ones after researching many and test driving half a dozen.

@keneda The GSI route is bo longer updated or supported by anyone. And since GSI ports don't have OTA updates support they'd be stuck in an oldee version of Ubuntu Touch.

Thanks everyone for the feedback! @aarontheissueguy Yes indeed the Morph-->Share to Webber approach implements the workflow that I'm used to from the other world @AppLee I agree that Native apps are the best option, but for many cases its probably not worth the effort if you easily get 80% of the "best possible" experience with a WebApp by just a few clicks.

@lakotaubp which one exactly ? "Clarification about financial contributions" doesn't answer it and it's the only one touching the finances at all.

All this having been said. If you absolutely depend on certain android apps, the safest course of action is to retain an Android device for those apps, as they are not guaranteed to run on Waydroid.

@farmer I also found that LTE settings will automaticly be applied to all phones that will support it by the carrier regardless of OS being used.
